I am a go with your decision on the two rounds of draft. As for the individual to be captain of Team E, since i was named as the preeminent candidate, I recuse myself from that part of the vote and will respect the decision of the MVL members and the Commissioner.

yeah, we could go that way (ie like the NFL draft which is in reverse order as Kzinti suggested). As we don't have any kind of club overhead to actually be placing the draft picks, this is why I had suggested the team captains must remain as they are, because *someone* has to do the choosing for their team. The only exception to this is the new team, so-called Team E, that does not currently exist. This is why someone has to be on Team E for its spot in the round. I know I had sugges

I was trying to decide where best to post this, and since this is the Discussion thread, I suppose it best fits here. While I am glad that my team, the Crusaders, won this round (my first round as part of the MVL) and also that I was able to win a bonus pt as fastest time in category (go me!); the resulting...actions and discussions at the end of the round, made the victory a tad...hollow for me; lessened, if you may, in a way. lol, this is why i made the suggestion of a recording secretary in the first place (of which I'm still willing to do). With that said, while its nice to have a number of people going and rechecking the results, we also just need to let Firebender and Neilo do their jobs. This is WHY we have just the commissioner and vice-commish, so we DON'T have twenty chiefs in the room. IF there is a question on scoring or points afterwards, we can make a proper appeal to the Commissioner to check into it.

I've stated before my views on team size, but just for clarification, i find a 5 member team the most suitable, as while 4 can cover the possibility of if we have a round with separate victory settings, a 5th person allows for a certain flexibility, especially if there's a non submittal. Above that is too many cooks, not enough food in the pantry.
