well, you can actually jump with depleted Anti-matter, just not use ship abilities. In the early game, this is what prevents you from madly rushing to colonise every planet in sigh within a few minutes.
this game has got nothing to do with uber-clickers. I believe my click count is ~8-25 at any given minute, and I'm just fine thank-you. its based on strategy and resource allocation, not clickspeed.
Which makes it the best RTS ever. Being slow doesn't matter much. Unless you're slow between the ears, that might be a problem.
hmmm... Was. The Homeworld branch of BDU has sort of disbanded, though the other parts of it still exist. So erm, thread closed
I wonder how much they will have to cripple supcom to make it playable on console. Take away lots of computational power, take away the best RTS controller known to man, take away the second monitor, that leaves you with a severly handicapped game. I guess it will be like C&C3 on console, sucky and not worth playing if you've ever seen any rts on a PC.
Meh...Spore doesn't interest me at all
Blasphemy!
I'm in the Netherlands, and not a single gamestore here seems to know about Sins. Those that do know it, don't have it, some have offered to specially order Sins, which puts the price at exactly the same as getting a box from the online store, but without goodies.
How can sins be Over-hyped? I haven't seen any halo-style massive add compaign, not have I seen whole swarms of fanboys heralding it as the second coming (by looking at screenshots) All i've seen are the beta testers and devs actually saying what the game is like.
I cant tell you how many times I wished I could have been part of the "special people" group of alpha & beta testers for some titles over the years.
yes, from some titles, you can tell the test
Haha, there are no planes to Denmark, everyone knows that Europeans don't have planes, just like French people don't have razors.
Of course not, we just fly everywhere on our magical unicorns. Sure, it may sound gay, but it's [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Entity_(South_Park)"]better then flying[/link] I'll bring the good beer ;)
Good thing i've only 2 cores, one of that annoying 8core nonsense to worry about. Yeah, really happy......:'( I asume the final version will be a lot better with multiple cores then beta4.
Yes, a miracle update. haven't you heared that Sins is now a FPS with RPG elements, sprinkled with platform gameplay :p also, where did that knowledge of storyline missions come from??
maybe kryo is the only one actually working, with Yarlen and Blair just wasting their time on the forums. :p
for those to lazy to click:
The Collector's Edition includes the following bonus items: a foldout tech-tree poster, artwork posters, a hotkey card, and a music CD.
Now, when you say "a techtree poster" does that mean all the trees from all three races?
I like the whole idea of being able to play LAN with a single key* so you can have a quick game with a friend, without buying two games ;) * of course, we all know that the game will be cracked within the day, and assholes will play LAN anyway, key or not.
Well, If you think about it... Isn't it rather odd for pirates to form a large enough organisation to have their own shipyards and their own engineers to design ships?
How is the modabiity of the game? Could Moders make bigger ships?
High, very High. It's easily possible to make bigger ships, if you want to.
Oh, I can't find to find that CE in my mailbox. Come one releasedate.
I don't want to torture anyone but the Gamma is so much better than the betas. Basically, imagine the game with a huge % of the feedback from beta 4 implemented.
You failed.
Uhoh, Games for Windows Cert? I remember how long it took with UAW, that wasn't pretty.
To post something on topic (Gasp) Nice going Ironclad. You made the list alongside Farcry2, starcraft2, fallout3, Warhammer online and WoW addons. Quite a feat. on a side note: Spore is releasing Q2 now? we shall see.
Been tracking Sins for months now :)
If the final game delivers joy it will automatically also bring more customers. One happy player tells another who tells another
not always. There have been a few highly enetertaining games that nobody bought, because noone knew about it. For instance, none of the gamers I know (irl) has ever heard of sins, and quite a few don't know homeworld either.
Oh, and I remember when Alcari first go bombed... the mushroom clouds never looked so pretty.
Yes, a dark day indeed. Though their retaliation was switch and vengefull.
Nonono, you're all wrong The internet is like a truck, driving through a tube. Do I have to explain everything to you noobs? :p
Thats what I like to hear!
It sure is
You'll see.
that, however is not :p
uhm, on 10km, nearly EVERYWHERE is withing T3 artil range. I realise you need to take the experimental's escort as well, but of course, that escort takes up time and money as well, which you can spend on your army to take the escort. In a simple mass/time equation, experimentals aren't worth it, especially the walking ones, because T3 bombers are just to strong. A slow moving experimental needs way to much air cover to be effective. And of course, any other army can run c
and of course, when you want a new videocard, you need a new motherboard, which means you need a new cpu, which means you might as well throw out everything but the powersupply and dvd drive.
