yes, seriously. and besides, the ones on the left have to be TEC, they are way too chunky/industrial looking.
Schod
I'll take that into advice.
I should think it would be lighting considering these ships look the same color despite shooting one another I love these two screenshots. so... big smooth ships on the right are vasari? big chunky ones on the left TEC? sure looks like it
In usual RTS games that can be a structure, in a game like Sins it can be automated planetary defense that can exist (not even built) at the moment a colony is started. exactly, just put a peashooter on top of the first building you get and your already finished.
or just coming out of. you know one question still hasnt been answered: when you initiate phasespace 1) will your ship need to stop moving? and 2) when you come out (if your ship was moving when it started) will that momentum be conserved I know the answer is probably no in both circumstances. but still, an answer would be nice.
even though they were annoying(but enjoyable), its definately one of those types of things that if your not into it, dont bother reading. it'll just ruin your day. besides, we can always just create new ones.
Oh and being a citizen of the UK, it makes me a little worried that history seems to be repeating itself, we all know what happened last time. I'm just worried that (as sarcasm said, regarding sociocultural beliefs) that this sort of supressive belief will spread and turn into an oppressive one. it did last time now, so long as you dont let Germa
I don't agree, the game just wasn't scary to me ah, see the thing is if you dont actually get into it, you wont find it scary you can go through the game feeling all roses and daisies, but your not gonna have fun with it. this game can scare anyone, but if you just run through without taking half a second to absorb the atmosphere, well
for anyone who has played this game (and seriously gotten into it) you know what I mean when I say this shit is SCARY. anyone who hasnt bought it needs to. I intentionally left huge gaps of playing time (days at times) between levels just because I wanted to savor every spine tingling second. this game is, by far, the best game I have ever played. I dont create posts ranting about a single game for nothing. and the way they end it... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2
Fuax pas means error or blunder...I hop you mean something along the lines of a decoy fleet my bad. fine. but still, if I were to lie and say thats what I meant, I could make a good arguement for using the word. just so you know xD definition: <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-Table
yeah, which means its a good strategy for intergalactic travel, cut down travel time substantially.
I can agree with that strategy, but in too many games its simply that the person who's computer is faster will win simply because they can chug out the cheapest unit possible the fastest.
In games like StarCraft you can send a handful of units over to the enemy base to do some harassment early on as long as its not a "duh, I should do it" move. because if its so powerful that it completely shuts down your enemy in one go, or even cripples them powerfully its too good of a game element to be included. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%
Ive always liked that kind of few, powerful, (expensive) units strategy. when the TEC engages you with a faux pas force and then pops a cap in your ass. I'll laugh.
Not at this time, but we'll be releasing wallpapers for Sins in the near future. the faster the better. Those weren't TEC capital ships. *gasp* well, I guess I was thrown off by the lighting.<br/
thats great...
oh give me a break, they all are capable of bending time and space. and yeah, you know they're hot!
No orbits as you suggest. The objects are in geostationary orbit over their planet. ok, that makes sense. otherwise things would be mad difficult to manage. and besides, I'm sure modders will make additions like that anyway. <TD class="mb-Bo
anyone who dissagrees with me when I say that the TEC look distinctly ghouldish is... well, arguing on basis of opinion but I got to say, this game looks AWESOME I mean, just look at the awesome TEC flagships (the ones that look kindof like oversized scarabs)
who gives a shit about imminent destruction? but seriously, I fully expect the advent to be the "quirk" class, one that moves oddly and is difficult to predict. thats my reason for using them.
i guess so.
that was earlier on in development though.
omg... shiny... *picks up screenshots with beak* I love shiny things...
Advent all the way, biatch.
you implied that in saying that I forget that most planets are frozen inside which I implied I knew by pointing out an indirect fact taht would indicate that we are special in having a viscous mantle.
