could be, however, neither of those ai players really had an abundant amount of ships either, but, you are right on building a shipyard first, the majority of the planets had that built, The AI should build at least one industry building before building the shipyard.

Hi all- Below is a list of constructive critisism. Take from it as you may :) - When in the trade screen you can trade civs for all thier planets, money, ships, starbases, and influence by giving them 20 ships(amount of ships very depending on different things). This trade whould not have any benefit to them being that once they give me all thier planets they are no longer a race in the game and therefore thier remaining ships become pirates roaming the galaxy. Sometimes I a

Hello, I just had the Dregin Empire give me all there planets via trade (too easy to do by the way) The pictures below show the Dregin Empire Troop Transport, however the thumbnail of the ship shows a Terran Troop Transport. just responding to this post of mine to get it back to the top of the forum list. It seems this is one of the pre beta topics that seem to have not been mentioned lately, along with the other post with right of passage [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=421&aid=169989#1390202"]Free passage zones / in-system movement[/link]which also has not been brought up either. I guess we've been spoiled over the last several weeks with quick responses straight from the top with frogboy, car
Another benefit is the "right of passage" treaties that were being considered before the betas could make their return.
I would like to see more with the right of passage myself, whether it's a UP Pole or just a general rule, I think that there is so much that could be done with the right of passage option all together Where did it go??

Here's another suggestion from me :) -Remove the 20,000 bc cap (upgrade of 30 smaller ships can sometimes get very expensive a lot more than 20,000 bc) Either that or make the cap larger (even 25,000 bc would be something) Or last make it a gradual cap so that you aren't just thrown into a negative budget as soon as you cross the hard mark. (make the cap more managable and at least a little more realistic, not saying that a hard cap is) -Somehow make it easier to upgrade a num

same with the doom ray, somehow the drath had this available earlier then normal too, now I have it :). It is way to early for those higher techs, the drath and I are running away with the game, me only because of trading.

taltamir- So are you saying it's just a fluke that 7 of the top ten are evil civ's and none are good? In fact only 2 are neutral the other 8 are evil in nature but, 1 of those is only somewhat evil. So being that the game score is so well balanced then prove me wrong, get someone to get a good civ to break into the top ten. I'm not saying the game is bad that it favors the evil civs, but I think there is enough evidence out there that supports the idea of evil alwa

Below is a picture of the tech tree, showing that disrupters comes after the first ion cannon tech, I believe at minimum this should be linked to the end of the Ion Cannon techs, not to the first Ion Cannon tech.

I agree with Seth Gaines here, the auto money find is great an auto Influence would also be very nice. I've also noticed that the money will sometimes say 111 when it really means 1117 for instance. It will sometimes drop the last number or the last couple numbers then when you click it it of course resets to 1 thinking your going to change it.

Korath also has Disrupters seemingly way before they are supose to, The Highest weapon tech currently available with all races gives max 2 damage this gives 7.

7 Replies 3,575 Views

This has been my point in my post, see link at bottom of this reply, Opposing races seem to have access to Warp techs weather in this case Warp III, or in my post Warp IV and V. [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=421&aid=169537#1386319"]2 errors TABeta3A[/link]

I also when I started a new game last night in TABeta3B the Korath again had Warp V way before they were supose to and Dark Yor (that's right a minor race) had Warp IV when no one had engine techs greater than Impulse III and I traded for that after I had Warp IV and V from those races and I could still trade the Korath and give them Warp IV if they wanted it and Dark Yor I could trade them Warp V if they wanted it, No other race had these techs I have met all major races and all but 2 minors at

Yes anomalies do respawn, however, sometimes these anomalies, wheather they're respawned or origional they are invisible making the auto survey option the only way to find them other than looking at the mini map.

It did it again and this time stayed disappeared. in the picture below the custome ship is on auto survey and is moving to a location that appears there is nothing thier.

Sorry all the earlier posts of mine in this topic seem to be a temperary fix. As I played the new beta and was able to get more time on it than I have in the past few weeks I had the same problem reappear. I e-mailed CodeCritter my saved game and Debug.err along with the picture below.

When, if ever can we expect a bump in the number of stars in an immense Galaxy. Right now and since the begining of the beta it seems to be about the same number that is in a Gigantic Galaxy. I seem to remember before beta testing began, Frogboy talking about hundreds of stars and thousands of planets and at that time the only limitation was the memory being eaten by all the planet textures which was supose to be resolved with the new planet textures so it would be my understanding this could
