I'd like to take this chance to pitch once more for adding an "Upgrade all ships of this type in this fleet" option. It would save many of us hundreds and hundreds of late-game clicks.
I second this, I mentioned this in the pre Twilight requests for the expansion. It would be nice to not have to keep searching out individual ships in each fleet to upgrade.

Here is a question that I've been trying to find an answer for and I never seem to get a great response other than it is more than gigantic. When we first heard about the Immense Galaxy we were given the idea that there would be a galaxy larger than the gigantic galaxy filled with stars. Now I don't know what the actual number limits are in stars generated in a metaverse Immense Galaxy but, it doesn't appear to be much more than a Gigantic map, just more spread out. Now I
Thanks for helping me out all of you, I think that gave me enough insight in the matter outside of Stardock. Like I stated in the origional post here I had a hard time trying to find the posts on the other topics on the site so thanks. Also I tried to see if the information in the Databanks link was updated but, I see that those links and information is from the origional game mostly or possibly up to DA but, nothing even hints at TA. Shame I was hoping to at least get a little more i
Question, I normally don't look through the manuals all that much which is why I didn't pay any attention until this now, when I was trying to look throught the PDF file of the Twilight manual when I realized that this was just the GC2 Gold Edition Manual with a new cover that said Twilight? Are we ever going to get an actual updated pdf file with a new manual or are we stuck searching the website for general information? Also not a huge issue but, being that your not tak
I still don't think the immense galaxy really does a whole lot of what it was promised. It was promised as a galaxy much larger than the previous largest galaxy where it would have a lot more stars and many more planets. To me it appears that the immense galaxy has what use to be the ammount of stars in the gigantic galaxy (previous to the out of memory errors) and just spreads them out. I thought that they were going to eliminate the memory errors and reduce the ammount of memory taken by ea
My first question is Why? as in Why does this post exsist? When this game first entered beta testing it was clear that if you pre-ordered the game there would be no box. When I ordered this game it asked if I wanted the CD option, Because it didn't ask me for a box option I had no reason to assume it would be with a box. Being that I ordered Dark Avatar w/ a CD I assumed it would be exactly like that a CD in a paper sleve. Any post prior to this that I've seen with the q
I understand that minor races don't have influence effects as major races do. But I don't think that they should be able to control mines from accross the galaxy with no fear of revolt. I think if it existed an unseen influence radius around them so they could control mines nearby but, not spaning the galaxy.
Why don't the minor race astroid fields not turn over at all? I can understand if they have a field of non seen influence in the area but, I'm talking accross the galaxy they have mines that are sending resources from several sectors away.
Pirates appeared all over the galaxy. They destroyed everything but, minor races ships and bases. Why don't the pirates attack them?
I am currently playing a game, Yor was 675 turns away from claiming an assention victory, then the pirates showed up and destroyed almost all the starbases out there. Yor lost their assention starbases and it stoped counting their vicory and disappeared from the top of the screen, I've also controlled 1 assention crystal from almost the begining of the game and I also lost my assension base. I have now regrouped and took 3 of the assention crystals and I have no box in the corner listing my t
I had one on a manufacturing tile no bonus, 1 on a pop building , and two on moral bonous w/ moral buildings. When I replaced them they weren't much different.
I've been playing for a while now, since the game was release and before, but, I've noticed now I've been sping on the Torian Confederation for many turns now and have active spies on thier planets. I took over the planets I had spies on and imediately put them on another Torian planet. Next turn the Torian's countered all 4 of my spies that I had just re placed. My question is, why didn't they counter them in the turns prior, or how did they suddenly get 4 spies fr

I was playing my first metaverse game, earlier I had just stuck to the campaign, this was the first game I played with accension crystals. Are you supose to be able to build more than one constructor on the crystal? It states I have 0/2 modules installed however, non of my constructors will build any additional modules and it doesn't reflect like the other starbases do with telling me how many modules are available. Pictured below. <IMG src="http://img26.picoodle.com
Ok i had this problem and it is down to where Impulse installs the files. I found mine in My docs/my games. All you need to do is track down the file (starts with stardock) and move it into the programs file on your main drive. This will return all the files to their correct location and the game will start
I looked in this file, I had no files in My Docs/My Games/ labled Stardock or anything close to it. Just the normal DA folder with the saved games.
I'm downloading via SDC right now. It's still taking awhile.
I just got done downloading Twilight of Arnor from Impulse. It took about 2 hours to do because I also had to download the update for Dark Avatar. After download was complete I restarted my computer to hopefully make sure that nothing required restart and proceeded to click the Icon for Twilight. Windows immediatly said can't find file. So I tried searching for the game myself only to find that the Twilight file doesn't exist in my game file and the Dark Avata
Just updated my drivers again. Reloading the saved game allowed ships to reappear, however, new ships were still invisible. This was a normal sandbox game custom race, Thalian Tech, Terrian Ships. Again CTRL+N was not used and no mods are installed, Core ships have this problem, observed on Colony and Constructors.
Just sent you an e-mail with all the information. Thanks, sorry for the post in the Beta forum, I didn't read the pinned post first :).
Sorry didn't read pinned posts. disregaurd post.
I still have the invisible ship bug that I've noticed in all the beta's. Mainly in 1-4 where I was actively playing all the time, although is still present in the latest 6A beta. I thought this would have been fixed by now and all previous attempts to have me reinstall or re-do certain files in the past have failed. As of right now that is a big flaw in the game that I can't see my ships. The initial ships I can see just fine it's all new colony ships and constructors
ah, maybe someday soon we'll get another projection. Thanks though
Hello All, I've tried to find and locate a current updated release schedule and I can't easily find one. Can someone please help me find out when the current projected release date is? I haven't had too much time lately, working two jobs to play the game or much less keep up on the forum's and the last time I read anything I thought it was this month but, that was a few months back already. Thank you for your responses, Seilore
why can't I find the editor?
I've had the same problem in DA, I haven't experienced this in TA yet though.
