Just pitch in $400 like I did and buy Vista! The theme for the REAL Vista is better than you can get with Windows Blinds(I'm not saying WindowsBlinds sucks, it rules by any means).

ATI is the VERY MINISCULELY SLOWER but more flexible video card, they can be major uber overclocked to speeds that blew my girlfriends clothes off and still handel gaming on a widescreen monitor. Also their warrant is lifetime, they trust their own product. nVidia is the UBER DUBER SPEEDY GONZALES but standard video card, they start out really fast but can't be overclocked and usually wont play most games on widescreen resolutions. Also their warranty sucks a**.
Ok... You want a good and CHEAP card? Get yourself an ATI X800 AGP card, it plays my favorite games(Oblivion and Half-life 2) flawlessly with anti-aliasing at x6! Also ATi stands behind their products, unlike NVidia whom wouldn't return my GTX 7800. Also make sure the rest of your wares are up to date, I have an Intel pentium 4 DX running at 4.3 GHz(OH MY ******* GOD!!!) and it loads Photoshop CS2 in 3 seconds easily.
