Guys, Uvah used Winstep Xtreme so I had his customer file. Once I knew his last name I was able to locate his purchase order and get his address and phone number (the phone number he provided when he last renewed his upgrade subscription in 2018). We tried calling him but it went straight to voice mail. Given what was going on with him at the time (terminal cancer) and that I don't believe - given his amazingly positive attitude - he would waste an opportunity to get in touch with his
I know his last name, but putting it here would be a violation of privacy. I check the Internet every day for any obituary and there is nothing I can find. [e digicons]:([/e]
That's good news, I guess. You can send it to me by PM if you want - I also have his last name in here somewhere (and probably his address and phone number) since he is a registered Winstep user, but I only know him at WC by 'Uvah' or 'Ross'. Object Dock and DesktopX aren't supported by Stardock anymore!
If it's any consolation, the Shelves, Grid Stacks and Drawers in Winstep applications will be compatible with ObjectDock tabbed dock themes coming next release (they were already compatible with dock skins, just not tabbed docks), so you will be able to use OD themes you make directly.

Hmmm... MS retiring the MSN Weather app is not a good sign. Luckily I just tried it here on Nexus/Winstep Xtreme and the MSN feed itself is still working. Let's see for how long. The Winstep weather module/widget relies on more than one feed so it doesn't stop working altogether if one feed goes down (initially NOAA, Weather.com, MSN, Yahoo and Google), but all the existing weather feeds are slowly being 'retired'. First it was the Google weather feed (killed off completely a

It seems the OD backgrounds I made are the one's having the problems.
I need to see a screenshot to be able to understand what might be happening - that or a download link so I can try the theme here myself, but both would be better - devil is normally in the details. :)

The problem is the fonts in the tabs don't adjust, so if it says Programs I get Pro.. Even setting the fonts to the smallest which is 8 I still get the same thing.
Screenshot and name of the theme, please?

Just uploaded a public beta of Winstep Xtreme and Nexus Ultimate v19.4 (to get it you must enable 'Notify me of beta (test) versions' in the Advanced tab of Preferences). Full list of changes and fixes can be seen by clicking the version number in the top right corner of the About tab in Preferences and then clicking the Change Log button. This beta, among other things, fixes the temporary folder Grid Stacks opening as a 1x1 icon Grid Stack, and adds compatibility with ObjectD

Ok, see those shortcuts on your Desktop with the little arrows so you know they are shortcuts to files instead of the actual files? They too are files themselves, shortcut files that end with a .lnk file extension. So, if you drag Pandora from the left panel of the Windows Start Menu onto your Desktop, it will create a shortcut to Pandora on the Desktop named 'Pandora', right? This shortcut is really a file on your Desktop folder called 'Pandora.lnk', e.g.; C:\Users\ Your User

UWP Apps are NOT like Win32 applications at all , which is why docks that haven't been updated to work with Windows 10 have trouble with them. There is no '.exe' to run and you won't find UWP apps in Program Files either. There might also be other issues at hand here, such as the Windows 32 to 64 bit file redirection, which would explain the 'Not found' error message. This is why I suggested launching the shortcut file itself from OD instead of trying to launch the tar
