As far as I know, ObjectBar does not skin window titlebars either - you still need WindowBlinds or Chroma for that. It's also very easy to make a menu in NextSTART point to the folder that holds all your quick launch shortcuts, but I agree that using WorkShelf for that makes a lot more sense. In the next release, both NextSTART and WorkShelf will include access to the contents of the Quicklaunch toolbar when you first install them. No other menu system existing today offers all
Brad, I think Paxx actually has a very good point here. I would go as far as limiting daily downloads per IP address, but I guess proxies would wreck havoc with that approach.

If the theme is installed as normal, there is no problem. It's users following the author's instructions of restoring from the NBK (NextSTART Backup) file that presents the real danger. NBK files are user-created backup files that contain ALL of NextSTART settings, including menu structures, hotspots, etc..., unlike the normal theme files that only include theme specific information. Restoring from someone else's NBK file will overwrite *everything* in your current NextSTART co

Most of us only discovered the links to external programs by accident: If you go to the NextSTART section here in WC, the title of the skin will be something like 'QNX for NextSTART'. The actual 'NextSTART' word is the link that takes you to the developer's site (in this case winstep.net). Brad, very useful program! However, in the Convergence description page it says that the first beta of Convergence supports NeXTStart (partially) and WorkShelf(partially). I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, so what exactly does 'partially' mean? Brad is quite right - you can use them all together. Only thing I want to point out is that NextSTART, DX and LiteStep are very powerful programs with hundreds of different options and abilities, so it might take some time before you fully realize what each program can do. Reading through documentation is always important, more so in some cases than others, granted, but in every case it will enable you to better grasp the potential of each program. Well, I can't find any information on this virus whatsoever. Must be brand new? Anyway, I never run attachments either. I can't afford the 'luxury' of having my production machine infected. I also always scan downloads for viruses, even if they come from known sources.
