(I haven't read the entire post so do excuse me if this point has been already duly brought up) There is a XML file in the GCII data folder(or something like that) that lists all the megaevents as well another two which list UP events and Random events.
Well, it's not like anyone has the time to sit through every single invasion. I actually skip them all... and have enabled instant battles.

Hmm, maybe we could just post the settings screenshots(like in the MVL) and let the empires get lucky. Perhaps the league could host this... it's a nice alternative to role-playing. ;)
