Well whatever that works to make it possible, I don't really need this code, but I think the script would actually help not only me but others who want to make unique objects/widgets/menus as well.

I almost had the same problem, but instead I made my own taskbar/sysbar. I had to create images that overlapped my entire task bar and locked it. make sure your image is at least a height of 25(horizontal) or width of 25(vertical) and you might have to resize the other dimension- Easiest method for me. Also make sure the object types are set correctly to systray or taskbar, that could be another problem.
In reply to ackland's problem, you have to configure desktopx>desktop tab>wallpaper,click ok and desktopx builder should restart. you always have to do this when you change your default wallpaper...
Or if anyone has a Playstation 3... that's where I got the idea from, so the gist of that is really what I want it to look like.
