Every game I have tried to play I would get to a certain point and then it would start crashing every 10 minutes. It doesn't seem to matter what I am doing it will crash, colonize a planet...crash, access the shipyard...crash, open the civilization manager...crash, sit there staring at the screen trying to decide what to do next...crash. I have worked on a farm and my morale sucked too I have recently started playing this game so with everything else I am watching/learning, I haven't noticed morale drop with farms, but will now. Thanks for the heads up.

It would crash at the new game right after I selected the galaxy type and hit the "next" button. So after reading all the posts here I could find about my problem, I upgraded my video drivers, and direct X, even though I don't believe they were out of date or corrupted. Still same problem, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the
Ok, it seems to be the disks themselves. reinstalled a 3 time and now I can get into the game BUT none of the buttons are labeled nor is there anything written on the tooltips.
