* Each race should have it's own "spokesman" like they did in Master of Orion. When you research something, starts a ground battle or something other of importance happens, a person from your own species told you what you just did. I miss that in GalCiv2. * More hulls, design parts and all that. Even different looks for every weapon, engine and what not. Maybe even editable designs for them? * Each hull itself should be customizable. Sure we can make impressive things with the

I'm a quite new GalCiv2 player, but literally lived a whole year and six months in Master of Orion 2. (pretty much and older GalCiv from a different company). I play on a giantic galaxy with max number of opponents, by the way. It's the only way. * First, research something to help your planet. This helps you in the long run. * Second, squeeze out a few custom colony ships to get the ci

I am a writer and would love to do the story part. But I'm getting a bit tired of the Romans, the near future and WW2. Come up with anything else, and I might be interested.

I think I did mention I haven't played the game that much, so I might be mistaken. I do hope I am. Are there really wonders only one planet can have? Which ones? Don't need to know them all, just a few examples.

I tried e-mailing the activation, and it worked great! Thanks! But this made me think a bit. I don't need the cd to play, only the serial code and activation code. Isn't this a bit... you know, stupid? If I wanted to, what stops me from taking my copy to a friend, install the game and activate it with my own serial code? He doesn't need the disc, just the serial code. In theory, it means anyone can upload the game on the 'net along with the serial key and their own (fake, of course) e-m

I know making RTS elements and city building can draw the developers away from the main game, but does it matter? It is more or less perfection as it is already, so there really isn't much point improving it even further. But of course, that's no reason not to try. As for the Deathstar, it might and might not work. The last thing I want is the game to end as soon as someone gets one. I would r

Let's face it. No matter how great GalCiv2 is, it can get better with some fundamental changes. Don't get me wrong, it really rocks. I know it's a long shot, but there are a few things I really want for GalCiv3. Groundbattles. I admit I haven't had the change to try everything in GalCiv2 just yet but still, there are always ways to improve it. I'm thinking some sort of RTS mode, although very limited and entirely optional. But basically, you recruit a bunch of "heroes" and try to send t

Alright, here's a problem. I have both a desktop computer and laptop, since I spend a lot of time in the hospital. (no big deal, just boring.) Problem is the laptop have a modem, and the desktop computer don't. This means I could easily get the 1.40 version, register it and activate it on the laptop, but it's not playable on the desktop computer since it doesn't have a modem. What can I do? I don't want to go back to the retail version of GalCiv2 now that I've seen the 1.40 version in action, an
