I need to make an apology to any and all at Stardock. Even though I [don't remember] ever whining, bitching or otherwise complaining about anything concerning Stardock, I am truely sorry if I have. I have complained to myself about the cost of the Object Desktop every year but I never thought, maybe I'd never noticed, that the site was included in that cost. (I still think it's too much but that's only because I really just 'cause I can't afford it. But... I make sacrifices <img src=

For the last 2-3 days, maybe more, EVERY time I run SDCentral, I get dialog that updates(or does it?) to 2.00.293. EVERY time! Tried uninstalling (through CP - Add/Remove) but got 'a can't find whatever.log' file. Well screw that so I just deleted the folder and Reinstalled what I have (sdc190_beta) Still does it. Causes no "problems", just annoying, shouldn't be doing it. Suggestions? TIA <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd

It's looking good except for the "Show Progress Width Mask". It "covers" the PB image (except for a bit on the left) Anyway, now I can stop working on mine

I don't know anything about the hybernation thingy with Bootskin but I *do* know this: If the "progress bar" is place too close to the edge (1? 2?) and/or the width is too wide (638, something like that) it WILL cause a boot problem. All is fine up to the point where our new Bootskin wants to kick in but instead the reboot sequence starts all over again (as in reset were pressed). Only way to get out of it is to do a System Restore (to last successful boot/whatever) I keep wanting to

jesus its like 45$ ask your parents or save up... point being this is actualy software WORTH paying for... As much as I LOVE WindowBlinds (and a couple of others - I've subscribed to Object Desktop), it IS getting rather expensive. @ "like 45$" (49.95) A YEAR, I've done it for 3 years now (4th is coming up soon.) and starting to realize that it/

I just happen to come across this so... Thank you three_4me, David, werewolf. I'd be happy to port it over.... If someone could convince treetog to send me a copy of the WB skin. (Oooh, oooh, Trillian, too! hehe) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle

If I had to survive off comments/ratings on my posts (ports), I'd have been DEAD a long time ago. If I like a skin, (or get a request to do one) I just do it. If others don't like it (or just want to be an a*s about it with a bad comment and/or rating (assuming bad isn't deserved)), I don't give a DAMN! There's a LOT more wrong with this world than a trivial bad vote. <img src="http://images.stardoc

Jafo, sorry if there was confusion. I never remember that 'talking' in a situation like this is NOT the same as face to face. The garbage has been taken out. We have refreshed things to 1.01 this week Nakor, indeed, 'we' must have because Bootskins works fine now. No problems. Thanks you... EOT

...the *1st* time it happened! That's why, the 2nd time... Koasati: I meant the 2nd time I installed. Sorry. There was a several week gap in between. Nakor: 1.01 is still newer yet. *Maybe* I'll try again. <img src="http://images.sta
