Protected here too. I get it in one form or another (document.doc, document.zip, document.exe) 2 or more times a day.
Not that I came across anyway... Problem is: BootSkin (WAS) installed. Ran it. Looked at the list but CHANGED NOTHING! Rebooted. Everything is fine until it gets to the place where the new boot screen would be. After a few seconds it starts over again, meaning, as if I'd pressed reset. Loops like this indefinately. Reboot to boot screen, reboot to boot screen, reboot to boot screen. Athlon Thunderbird All-in-Wonder Radeon XP ????? <BR
Installed it, tried a 'boot screen' I downloaded (from HERE) and, like Brimo, safe mode and FINALLY got it fixed! When booting, it'd sit at the new boot screen for maybe 2 minutes and do another restart, again and again and again. I let it go something like 6 times before I decided on the Safe Mode route. Never again! I'll stick with ugly ole XP's for another (Bootskin) version or 2.

My biggest complaint about posted skins: Within the zip (or whatever extension used) 1) unused images. Delete them 1st! 2) Thumbs.db - DELETE IT 1ST!! My 2 cents worth...
