The game runs fine in terms of speed and performance. It just seems to start going down hill not from being overtaken by slowness, just that things start to look wacky. I just want to know what sets it off, because it only starts doing it after about 5-10 minutes of play time, prior to that everything runs fine (no slow loading or anything) and in terms of graphics it looks just like the screen shots until it starts with the crap! haha But yes, it is probably about 5-6 years old for the vide

Graphics Problem in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

I am having some problems with graphics with the game, which could potentially be from an older computer that I have and will be upgrading soon. I can start the game and it will run fine for a little while until my problems start. The problems consist of basically certain graphics not showing up correctly. For instance, text (planet names, treasury balance, etc.) will only show part of the text - example, Earth would show as E rt . Also the screen outliner on the minimap will stick and basic
