I used PowerDesk for years. Had problems with it and HP software. V-com could do nothing, they are only resellers of products. Now I use ExplorerPlus 6 (from the same people that brought you PowerDesk) http://www.novatix.com/. I bought a Maxtor 160 GB in April for $99.95 and another in May for $89.95 (Staples). Had to RMA 1 of them (heads locked up) Maxtor replaced it with a 200 GB. Keep an eye out for sales.

TrueImage 8 from www.acronis.com allows you to keep working while the image file is being created. Also does incremental images. Works very easily. Just my 2¢ worth, Jeff

I tried the dock to edge and didn't like it. It would be okay if the tab you entered at opened up (like when adding icons to a collection), but I would have to backup the cursor to click on the tab I wanted open.
