Thanks Zydor It was the space between exe and cheat.. now maybe I can get past the mission I have been stuck on for 2 weeks..lol

Can't get cheat codes to work in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

It says to add "cheat" to the target line in the properties of the shortcut but when I do it tells me invalid path. command line is "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\GalCiv2\GL2Launch.exe" I tried adding cheat after the quotes but nothing happens, I tried changing the GL2Launch to GalCiv2.exe and it says invalid path. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong..am new to changing file names

I feel your pain I am having the same exact problems. I have tried different strategies but still cannot figure it out.
