After downloading the latest 2.03 update, the game will not launch. I get to the first splash screen where I can select "play the game", but after doing that it goes to a black screen (no intro movie, directly a black screen) that I can alt-tab out of, but that's it. I tried launching with the shortcut, with the exe, from impulse, after uninstall and full reinstall, but it's always the same result: a black screen. I see that the icon is there on the taskbar, though. I'm afraid I don't

Awesome link, Loupdinour. Exactly what I was looking for. Thx also, Mascrinthus. The reason why I started this thread is because I encountered exactly what you describe for the Yor. I started a game with them, everything was going well, until I realized that there was no way to actually improve their economy beyond that 25% :P

Hi, I've browsed the ToA forum and the manual, but I have not found the information I was looking for. Basically: - which races are evil/good/neutral? - what is the specificity of each race's tech tree? I'm asking this because: a. it's kinda annoying to pick a race, select only neutral events, and then realize upon choosing your alignment that your race was evil or good and thus you will have to pay a hefty price to be neutral anyway b. some tech trees seem more
