Lol.... land battle? Then im out of here for ever and never coming back
Would be simple to avoid it, just don't click on the planet for a battle [e digicons][/e] and let it automatically be determined.

It certainly isn't easy, but, imho it isn't easy because if implemented, one wants to do to much in too little time, therefore, make a base game out of it for instance, when clicking on a planet (habitable one of course) you automatically go threw the atmosphere and see your first infantry troops. The overall idea is to then expand step by step, abit like this: 1) Standard openfield battles between infantry men, but, this worked out to the limit. 2) Artillery support (
Every time I hear this it seems like nothing but greed backed rationalization. Consumer preference: Gamer A gets tired of a game, decides to sell it to gamer B, thus recouping something and Gamer B gets a lower price. Win-win for both consumers. Corporate preference: Gamer A is tired of game so he should just throw it in the closet and get zero value returned and game B should pay full price. Lose-lose f
If that is considered "too much" by some people then frankly, those aren't customers I want to have and I would absolutely prefer they never purchase anything from us again - ever.
If that's the way you feel you have to react to a fan/customer who bought your game ? No problem !!! Goodbye, wish you the best of luck!

Am having mixed feelings here, on the one hand, I DO understand that developers have the right and need to protect their product and I don't mind using my authentic key to download a patch threw the internet. On the other hand, I'm sceptic at the whole interview as prior to this, it seemed Mr Wardell made us believe that all manners of copy protection would be excluded from any Stardock game, but, reading this interview, it DOES sound as if Mr Wardell as taken a slightly different tur

Yep, agreed. I mean, I don't mind giving Stardock some feed back, but why do I have to choose if I'm not satisfied with any of the option. THe one related towards Impulse was the best one. It went something like ( after I clearly stated that I never used it and never will use it ), what is your favorit type of download option ??? I mean, .... I just said I never used it !!!

Hi Craig, Did you guys ever consider that people prefer having one add-on that can be bought in stores ? Love the game, think what you guys created is superb, BUT, I'm sorry to tell you, if you guys are solely going to release these threw the internet, then I can assure you, you are going to loose alot of fans !!! Do hope you guys reconsider and make them available threw retail !!!
why not after they are all done, sell them all as a whole expansion in stores for those of us who don't like to buy stuff online but who still want the stuff it provides.. [e digicons][/e]
Dito, I never was and never will be someone who likes to buy games online, first of all, I REALLY LIKE a game box and a manual I can read. Second, this way, I also support the local reseller for which it isn't easy to survive with all these download possibilities. I don't

Hello everyone, I just purchased the game from www.proxis.be seeing it was finally available in Belgium. Being someone who preferes to buy a boxed copy of the game, I was wondering whether I'd be able to get the final patch ones it comes out without any trouble ? Also, will the add-on(s) be sold in stores aswell, or solely threw Impulse ?
