Like it or not the bottom line is that Stardock understands that it will lose some people by using steam but its willing to give up those people for the new ones that using steam is likely to bring. sorry hit the wrong button when I posted this.
When can we get a non steam version?
Well I can not even buy a non steam version because it already has given me a free steam version. Which this is pissing me off.
There has to be a non steam version of LH. Cause I am sick of companies forcing DRM on us. If I own the game. I should be able to play it with or with out the internet. Not this BS.
Shame my FE is the non steam copy. Which will not work with the free Steam copy of LH. I need a non steam copy of LH.
I wish I could play LH but my FE is a non steam version. While my LH is a steam version. Meaning the two can not run and will not run together. Where can I get the none steam copy of LH?
Ok So I got a free copy of FE and LH. Problem is they conflict with each other. My FE is a non steam copy while the code I got for LH is for the steam copy. Which I do not have. Is there a way to get a non steam version of LH? I am feeling like I am being screwed over.
I just one of those people who owns the original trilogy and is a bit ticked off that they expect me to rebuy the game to use their steam client. With the Fact the Fallen Enchantress has a non steam version on top of steam version. I bot the original Sins of a Solar Empire. Because they started to shocked the steam DRM BS down our throat. I also remember them saying they will never force use to play their games on steam. *Looks at stardocks and calls them hipercrits. Yet when I bot the original Elemental: War of Magic it was so bad they gave me a free copy of Elemental: Fallen Enchatress. Would you look at that. A new game that is not forcing Steam down my throat. Yes that is right. I am pla
StarDock has lost me as a customer. I like Impulse cause it does not really force you to use it. It is a nice and handy tool. I wish more companies would support it. Not force you to use steam. I hate buying a box copy game then sliding in the disk only for a stream requirement download to pop up. I bot the hardcopy cause it faster to install the game. No waiting 1 - 3 hours if not longer to download a midnight release. I hate digital. I do not mind using digital for updates but steam is bs w
Time to boycott sins of a solar empire rebellion. I was so about to preorder it but then my impulse said the magic words that stopped me from buying the game. Warning: This game requires the Steam client to install & play. With the all red flags went up. WTF was stardock thinking? What the best way to piss off our fan base and kill our company? Cause that must have been what they where thinking to even think Steam was a good idea. Rest in peic
I think a multiplayer expancen would be a great idea. The problem is why pay for something you can not use unless your online. This game has lack MP for a long time. You should just give it as a free download Booster pack. I mean after all Civ 4 has a great MP option this game should as well. I Feel a Multiplayer Option is a must just make it a free booster.
