Help Figuring this Out in Modding GalCiv2 Forums

I have been having trouble putting in two mods. Would anyone help me figure out my problem? I want a mod that adds three new political parties, and another that adds some new planet types. However, I can't seem to get them right, as all that ever happens is that I either fail to get it to work, or the program crashes. Any help? Thanks, Siberys
