[Crash] Repeated random crashes in FE Support Elemental Forums

I'm having repeated random crashes now with this save. It's to the point where I can't play more than 3-5 turns without a crash. debug.err dump save

I think the weapons boosting initiative is one of the biggest problems. No weapon should boost initiative unless it's magical! Instead base initiative should be increased to the highest weapon and all weapons should lower initiative.

Sounds like a definite bug. Did you try moving a unit to the outside of the outer gate to see if it opens?

I was in a tactical battle with some air shrills. Knew I was gonna lose so hit auto-resolve and crashed. debug.err zip file

I don't like the 1000 turn thing. Most people don't play epic strategy games like this for any kind of score and randomly having the game try to 'end' after an arbitrary number of turns is just going to be confusing and turn people off.

Yes. The sovereign definitely needs something to make him stand out from other heroes. Right now the only thing is that the sovereign never gets any injuries. Which as you all know just means that he's better cannon fodder. Really? It's a sad state of affairs when your sovereign becomes the MOST expendable unit in your army. Lol.

I know! I'm so happy it's finally out. I think I'm gonna wait for the pending bug fix release before I get into it again though. Then again I've gotten to the point where I don't like to play without the genesis mod because it adds so much. That said dwarf fortress is far and away the most amazing game ever created IMO.

Cutting it down to 1 tactical movement is definitely going too far IMO. I think they need to nerf the ability to stack movement bonuses
