Ok I am at the end of my freakin rope here. There is no explanation for this bull crap and If I didn't pay for this software I would have already thrown it in the garbage. I cant get my task bar height to save because windows classic is my theme before wb is applied. If I change my theme back to xp defualt it completely breaks wb. I ended up reinstalling with the xp theme loaded. WB showes no XP default theme, only the wb themes and the windows classic theme! WHY ISNT IT SHOWING THE DEF

I like my taskbar to be double high because I run a lot of programs at the same time and when I load wb it resizes the taskbar back to the 1 row default height. How can I make it stop doing this? Its quite annoying. I figured it out for future reference this is what i had to do. There was a registry call for wbinstall64.exe (in hkcu/software/microosft/windows/currentversion/run) and I figured out that wbinstall64.exe by it self will not actually load a skin. You also have to start wbload.exe so you add a new string value in the same folder as the other key for the full path to the wbload.exe file.

I just did a full system search (including system and hidden files) and the only one I found was the one listed in my program files (x86)/stardock/object desktop/windowblinds folder which I know for a fact was put there by the installer I just ran because that directory was completely empty before I ran the installer. It has to be some other issue aside from file versions. If I had to guess I would say it was a corrupted registry entry, but I have no idea what the reg entries are suppos

Well, you can use the x64 version of stylexp to change your boot screens and logons, its just hard to find them. I have been tinkering with a logon file that came with stylexp x64 with a resource editor called XN Resource Editor. It works with standard run of the mill bitmaps, using CS2 just fine. I just am having a crap load of trouble getting the logon box moved and top and bottom borders cut out. Same thing with boot screens, standard bipmaps work fine, u just have to compile the fin

So I have been running an x64 system for some time now and I cant ever find any boot screens or logins that are compatible with x64. I personally think that there should be an x64 category for bootscreens and logins on this site as well as for logins and wallpapers, the resolution should be a searchable field for each entry. I run 1680x1050 and its difficult to narrow down a 1680x1050 login screen that works on x64 architechture. Anyway, if anyone knows a good spot to nab boot screens or

I just updated to 5.10 and run x64 (intel) and i have the same problem. I had the same problem on 5.01. I uninstalled it completely with wb unloaded, and made sure all the files in the program files folders were deleted. I rebooted and installed the latest version downloaded from stardock. When I reboot it still reverts back to the windows classic (no skin at all). anyone have any suggestions?
