soo comparing my post and Legerdemain, Toggle score window! Hmmmm, select demigod?

Well it comes down to the fact that the basic units have to be able to kill assassins (and generals), but an assassin has to be able to 'die' 1. Assassin hands down, what's a general with out an army? 2. Prolly general since their army will be better (can they even get units?) 3a. The ability to influence multiple parts of the map at once, advanced tactics by your self (i.e. pincer) 3b. Split forces, micro 4a. Only need to select one thing, power focused at one
What about the topic of gold for helping/support? Tyo. P.S. THANK YOU! (I'm not gonna stop saying it cause it's rare what you guys are doind)
Skill selection, item/unit buying, menu? P.S. thanks for the info, and how do you 'unlock' a demigod? campaign? P.S. 2.0 the fact one can unlock demigods seems to imply there are going to be quite a few, can you give us any estimates?
This is great news, in that it also confirms the fact that maps may have custom game play effects in them (something I was very much hoping for) So again, THANK YOU!
Question, can we play LAN with friends (cause I have some friends who are iffy about the game) This option would allow for more systems to be tested (10 people trying it, as opposed to one) and would be free advertising, it should be simple to create a spawn version that you allow beta key members to install on many computers that can only join games of full key members... though actually that could be open for abuse....
As far as we know: The permanent leveling demigod scheme will be an optional thing for custom games, where as (supposedly) in ranked games everyone will start on an equal playing field, as well as in most custom games. In this thread I believe we are talking about the per game skills.
Or the fact that each demigod has a completely unique selection of skills mean that each skill has a diffrent max level, for diffrent demigods. (depending on Tyo's breakfast of course)
Again your math makes it clear: 4 active (while non-immolated) + the ability to immolate = 5!
Well look at Stardock they're last games have been amazingly easy to install, hell I'll even admit that the first time I played sins it was with a cracked copy (if you can call passing the CD around cracked) But then I'm like I want to play on line! which means buying the game (which I did) Stardock is a company which, I believe, is adapting to new trends and so are making it much easier to crack their products but at the same time if you want to do anything besides play by yourself or with budd
YAY! for more info! 83.33% is pretty good at max level 25 thats 30 skills, that sounds like very good number and I am happy! On the point of brain hurting: YAY! I made a developers brain hurt!!! wait a second... they need that organ... Sorry Tyo I didn't bruise it did I? What I was trying to say is: You can have 4 (I'm assuming activate-able) skills on your bar at once. You said TB has 4 non immolated and 3 immolated wheres the other 1 come in? (or 3 for that m
YAY! for more Tyo info! Anyways, while not what I was hoping for, I must say that I'm perfectly fine with it as long as it isn't too much variation (I don't like the idea of one demigod able to be any role it wants). That and I have confidence in GPG and Tyo. Would you mind telling us though is it split into trees or is it one tree?
I could of sworn that the rook had less polygons than tiny (my eyes must begetting bad) >.> Ahem, again YAY! for Tyo releasing info. It's good to know that your taking suggestions allready, and that there will be fog of war, as while there have been some quotes that there will be, It's good to have more detail (unique to the map, ohhh fancy :)) Edit: Thank you again!
(DARN YOU AGAIN WORK!!) Ahem, on the point of this currency, yes it exists, but it could be some form of godly mystical ectoplasm as it could gold or a form of money, but we're pretty sure its used to buy things. Now on the point of the healer getting behind because they don't have enough money/gold/ectoplasm, what if this balanced in? In the fact that each hero has their own shops? Whats to say sednas items/units don't cost less money/gold/ectoplasm? But the idea syst
God I hate work, I missed a lot of this debating. Again, in regards to flexibility of a demigod, that will come from: A) Playstyle B) Order of skill leveling C) Items Early on the order you choose your skills will differentiate you from your opponent, later your items will, and both these decisions will affect your playstyle and vice versa. You don't NEED skill choices (by which I mean permanent choices) to make two Demigods be able to have t
I would much rather that you choose the order in which you get them, and be able to max all of them, I think this is where we disagree and we'll just leave it at that?
but how is that skill activated if it isn't in the non-immolated list?
I hate to double post but I would like to respond to Tyo in a diffrent post, as he responded while i was writing my last one: First: I would again like to thank Tyo (AND OTHER DEVS!) for paying attention to the community! This is why GPG is one of my favorite developers! Thank you! And keep it up! (thats waaaay to many ! >. Anyways: This information is very informative, from how I read it there is only one tree of skills, as the way Tyo says it kinda feels like that
I think that you will be able to get every skill each demigod has, just a hunch/hope. The way to customize is by: A) Playstyle: perhaps the biggest piece, how you play the hero is the most important thing as to how he is different from the same heroes. And everything really derives from this as the following choices are typically based off this. B) Items: Diffrent items cause the same demigod to have diffrent choices and play differently, buying armor will help you live longer in co
Items should take care of point 1, and 4 is kinda duh in this game, they're not gonna make a demigod with no self synergy. I highly doubt they went the str dex int way, as does anything along those lines appear on the rook stat card?
First, Thank you TBO. Next, I meant it that you could pick any demigod and fill any roll (but not necessarily at the same time)
I love these little insights, makes me feel my pre-order money is in good hands, more companies need to be like this. Oh, and love the art so far too!
No where in the games radar thing does it say anything about 5 skills:
I began climbing the ladder up to level 25 the moment I waded into combat and shredded my first enemy soldiers, earning both experience and gold. I then picked a deadly ooze aura that slowed and damaged everything around me and a venom-spitting ability from the skill tree.
Emphasis mine. All it tells us it goes to level 25 (which is where you might have gotten that from)
Which something I'm hoping they don't do personally: A) It makes it so eventually every demigod can do everything, every demigod can be a good a tanker as a dpser, to the point where one might as well just pick based on looks alone.. B) Distracts as it takes time to read every skill and then decide. C) Makes the game less noob friendly. D) And why not just add another demigod?
