MOO2 wasn't grand enough. Not enough star systems and too many bad planets made exploring rather boring. That's probably why the later part of the game seemed interesting too And you're right about the other games. Pretty much all of the games in this genre are best played early on. The later stages of the games, when you've discovered and seen it all, are too linear. Yeah I remember reading about that a year ago. Create your own events. Sounds like fun though some restrictions will have to implemented to prevent cheating As for lvl anomalies compared to explorer anomalies ... interesting. That would make it possible to colonize a planet/sector and find out about something there later on wouldn't it ?

The parts I can see on the webpage are very good so far but a few more screenshots wouldn't hurt for those that don't have the Alpha

Yes MOO3 won't be out until fall but we can't predict what effect it will have on gameplay But I doubt it will have effect on sales since it can still milk off the old game versions
I just want to know how many Event types and Planet choice event types there are by now cause that is my main interest in the game. Discovering something new each turn :D

I would love to have become active when I found found this game over half a year ago but being in Europe I tend to get get left out of all betas. So I never really bothered with non-online games but the more I read of this game the more I want it ... fast
