I was looking around, and noticed that the hangar on the cruiser carrier goes right through. So, naturally, one thing led to another, and now I have this:
Stratteggi
In the command card, I am able to click multiple adjacent buttons at the same time by clicking between them.
I have a terran world (my capital) and an arid one. Why does the arid one have more logistics structure slots available to it (It's not because of upgrades).
You gotta love the marauders: "Plunder and booty off the port bow!"
So, new class of ship in the game. I felt that this would be a good time to fire up a new argument, um, I mean, discussion about them. So... thoughts? feelings? pics?
Ooo, doomsday button
Two pouting children with a lot of firepower.
Schem is right on this one. Governments will not do anything. If you want to change business' attitudes towards these issues, the consumer needs to force them to.
I'm thinking new class of ships = new construction yard
I think the trade order is just a loose alliance of planets to facilitate trade between them, and the TEC is a military government that took control of the trader worlds when the Vasari came.
Thrawn, in the first pic, the ships you circled with yellow have red markings. In the bottom right, there is an Akkan with red markings. This means those other ships are TEC, which is good, because then we get to use them. edit: And yes, the Vasari are not that loser-ish with their technology. Not nearly.
He's not firing back because he's charging for a phase jump.
Just you wait until the Vasari come and destroy all you non-believers.
Now, the real question is, what are those scythe-like ships in the third screenshot?
The whole aspect of traveling through the gravity wells isn't settled yet. The old way of doing things (Ships could phase out through the local gravity well) was too quick. The current system of move to the point at where the phase lane hits the gravity well is too slow. We're still trying to find a healthy medium.
It's just pre-beta all over again.
This has been discussed, and it makes sense when looking at it this way: Phase jumps are not powered by antimatter at all. The phase drives are just imperfect when dealing with antimatter, so not all of it survives the trip.
Wow, I just realized I picked a Saturday... Oops.
Here's a simple idea: Make trade ships actually trade between systems, and make the profit for interstellar trading very high. This way, players will need fleets at stars to interdict enemy's trade routes.
June 23, once again for no real reason.
I must say, I'm a little frightened of the Advent. I mean, psychic powers causing the whole planet to riot and destroy themselves? I'm getting mental pictures of people clawing their eyes out...
@GeekArmada - Ships' weapons do fire independently, I've had my Kol destroy two broadcast centers at once.
I don't think getting game requests on a website would work in the context of Sins, as official games are done by anonymous matchmaking. You would only be able to be invited into unofficial user created games that have no bearing on players' standings online.
With the sheer numbers of frigates in Sins, upgrading them all individually would just be tiresome. It's just too much micromanaging for this game.
You can, it's just hard to tell if the units are actually following the orders.
