I've also had alot of "non-straight" friends. Mostly girls though because everyone knows lesbians are Cooler.
We have member in the ToE who is proud to be gay and doesn't seem to take offense (maybe because he is confident in himself and not ashamed of it). That and the fact that there are worse words for it. Then there are others in the ToE who may lean in that direction but will not admit it.
