Reply to No middle mouse function in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

As of this writing I did a clean reinstall and it still didn't function, however when I went to the Input screen to see if I couls set up scrolling with the keyboard low and behold the mouse functions started working again. Not sure why but it is back and running. For the record I have 2 logitech mice, a M570 wireless track ball and a MX-310. No middle mouse function in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

I apologize in advance if I missed this post but is anyone else having a problem where the middle mouse is not functioning now. I have 3 separate mice I have tried and still nothing and I see nothing in the input screen. Thank you. [e digicons]:(O[/e]

Obviously you missed the part about me not wanting to go back to programming school to play a game that should be working fine out of the box. I mean do you hear yourself, download this, change that, find this hidden file, bake on 350 degrees for 2 minutes, don't expose to sunlight, risks may include blindness, sudden loss of hearing, kidney failure, blah blah blah blah blah. So I tried a 4 player entrenchment game and scaled it down a bit. Well don't you know, mini-hump...I mean dump. So frustrating to be in the middle of a good game waste 3 hours of my time and lose everything, because in the end I will have to erase or lose it all if they patch or tell me once again to uninstall and reinstall. I have lost my patience with this could have been fantastic game. So long Iron-clad. Back to GC:TOA

I think you answered the question with your statement your running the game bare bones. Mini-dump seems to occur with faster processors and high end graphics running at full tilt. I am sure I can tune down to 16 bit dos and slow my cpu and avoid mini dump, but why would I want to do that. Would I buy a Porsche to drive 10 mph, well maybe some of us would. The point is I refuse to reduce all my settings because the system develops mem leaks or has some other problems executing on higher end ma

Hmm! Reinstall, turn down the graphics I think not, sorry. This is a Quad Phenom 9550 black box edition, with 2 8600gt nvidia sli cards - 256mb each. Runnning on a Vista 64 OS with 4 GB of ram. I really hate, and excuse the me for sounding a tad angry, having to tweak and uninstall and reinstall a game that should otherwise run fine. BTW I did uninstall and reinstall from impulse, nice service btw. Could it be a problem on my system, sure it could, it may also be 12 goblins nesting in my bios

So Guys (IC) what gives? I didn't play Sins for a while because of Mini-dump and waited till Entrenchment hoping the bugs would be out. I get in the middle of a heated game, wiping my opponents out and of course what happens, Mini-dump. As my opponents in game would say "We are losing our patience with your lack of committment." Can I just ask this: its getting close to crunch time is this game gonna be released soon or are we looking for a June/August release. It just seems that Sins is getting alot of attention, and while I enjoy Sins myself, It seems wrong to me to snuff an existing game that we have patiently waited for and preordered for another. I don't mind waiting a while, but I really would like to get on with TA and all its benefits soon. Thank you.

I have an AMD 3500+ 64 bit processor, Nvidia 8600, 3 GB of Ram running on Vista 32 bit, and suffer the same problems. variations on settings work sometime but it still crashes. Very annoying,no other problems with games. Finally I have a game where I am not getting my butt kicked and this problem occurs.
