lol thanks for input Bichur. I have looked at the scripts, and on the surface they look fine.. I think it's something to do with the random number generator giving the same value for each instance of fish. (I'm also using the other fish object, begins with a K cannot remember it!!, and the same is happening to that). What I would like to do is create a script in the container class which controls the random aspect and then trigger methods in the fish class to instigate movement

Hi there, I'm using frogboy's fish objects on my desktop and they look great.... I have them 'contained' in another object and on my second monitor. The problem is that I have several fish swimming on the screen, but they all do the same thing... ie swim at the same speed and in the same direction, either up, down or level. This is annoying because once they get to the top or bottom they all end up in the same line. How would I go about editing the scripts? I was hopi

Ok, done it again just to make sure. I'm running platform 1.6 (i.e. v6) (disabled the others in the Java control panel). However still having the same problem. I think this could be a Java/JBuilder4 problem..... While running JBuilder it is using a java.exe process, however the Java control panel refers to javaW.exe (note the W at the end). I know that this is not your area now, but do you have any suggestions or can you point me in the right directio

Hi Neil, Thanks for the input. I've downloaded the latest runtime engine/Virtual machine. Still having a few problems tho....... If I turn cursorXP off the JBuilder program seems to be fine, but other objects (DX) in view keep flashing, i.e. they seem to be refreshing themselves constantly. This wouldn't be a major problem, except that I don't use the windows taskbar but have DX objects at the bottom of my screen for launching programs etc. Can this b

Hi there, I hope someone can help me please...... (for starters the Return key doesn't work in this forum via Stardock Central so having to type in Edit then copy!!)
