I worry about that. I say a lot of stupid things, and I'm sure some of what I say would be taken out of context. If what you say about that person isn't mean-spirited though, I see only benefits (and a bit of embarrassment and awkwardness) from them knowing what you think of them. Otherwise, denial is always an option.

Sarah's right. Loving the wrong person is fun (why else do I still think of a woman I haven't seen in five years?), but moving on and finding the one right for you is much healthier. Of course, maybe you already found the right person and just needed a heartbreak to purge all the negative feelings.

Bill Clinton is still recovering from heart surgery and may not be up to full strength yet. Not sure what his father brings to the table. Of all the former president's Jimmy Carter would be the most logical. This may be payback for past actions by the ex-President. What did Carter ever do to Bush Sr. or Bush Jr. that'd warrant payback?

Messy, you're right. It is the democrats who have been screaming foul, and the conflict is of course present. If the tables were turned, we'd be hearing it from the republicans. But, because the republicans in Congress are content and complacent in their victory, they choose to leave well enough alone. For now. But, I would think that even republicans would have problem

I can complain about the outcome of the election, and I sure do on a regular basis, but this characterization of "whining" is so juvenile, you don't eve get it. Of course you wouldn't. You're a bunch of freakin' jingoists in love with Bush. He's an embarrassment to the office he holds. I will complain about him until he leaves office, either by ending his term, or better y

There's something I still wonder though. Do these people who have a problem with WindowBlinds users using their skins (since the full versions of SS and WB cost money) have a problem with StyleXP, since that also costs money and is advertised on the same site as their skins? If not, then it sounds just like an anti-Stardock thing.

Some of the responses are interesting. I just don't see how this article is selfish and inhumane. Preferring private charities to government aid because it's more efficient? Wanting to make other countries self-sufficient as opposed to entirely dependent on us? Not eating liver? How are these things so evil?

Charity is Charity. While governments of the countries that were rampaged are sure to lend a note of thanks to those who contribute aid, do you really think that the Kenyan fisherman, Indonesian villagers, and coastal Thai citizens really care 'who' gives 'what' and 'how much'? The truth of the matter is that we need to help keep the suffering to a minimum if we believe in

Ah, but she wasn't alone in the 'control'. Her own body had tried to shut down it's baby making facility years ago...she was taking artificial hormones to keep it going. Isn't that the case with abortion? Abortion requires many things outside the woman's body to cause the abortion. It usually doesn't just happen naturally.

When I think of drama queens, I think of liberals. Does that sound hateful? If so, then you're one of the liberal drama queens I'm talking about! This extreme sensitivity makes the most melodramatic teeny bopper seem like the reincarnation of Buddha! That, along with the melodrama expressed after Bush won the election, makes liberals kings of drama queens! Remember the election? Remember how they reacted to Bush' victory? Many of them literally went through (and are s

So, you're supporting the platform whether you believe it or not. So that means you support everything that the Democrats support if you're a Democrat, including NAFTA? So, how do these things make me "extremist"?

The UN, once again, seems to have mastered giving the appearance of doing a lot of work while doing very little. Instead, they take credit for the work of others. Perhaps they should look into getting into game publishing... Now now. That's unfair. Game publishers aren't nearly

Perhaps, the fact of the matter is he never said the the United States was stingy. Let's say for example you are rich. If there is a local charity drive and the chairman of that drive says some of the rich people were not giving enough, would that person be talking about you. If the shoe fits, wear it. If not move on and stop being so whiney. <

Well written, but sorry I spotted your subtle distortion. As I've said before, the large portion of liberals are not the working class and the unemployed but the middle middle class and upper middle class. I have no stats on this but this has always been my impression of the world and conservatives often like to take the piss out of this fact. So

I think it'd be wise to get the definition of "hate speech" right: Any words spoken against the Enlightened Liberals who deserve to have complete control of the entire world at the expense of them conservative hicks.

after all, vlad the impaler is more conservative (since he was a monarch) than those against vlad the impaler and since condileeza rice is a conservative, she would support vlad the impaler. Exactly! What was considered liberal and conservative before is not what's considered liberal and conservative today, so using a historic man as an example o
