I would suspect that the weather docklet in OD is calling home for a weather update. You sure it's not the docklet downloading bank account and social security information? LOL - it would cost more in electricity to run the

Ahh, ok. That makes sense - I should have thought about that. Thanks!
I just installed PeerGuardian and it alerted me that a TCP connection is being made from my PC to both 38.99.229.8:80 and 38.99.229.15:80 - both are identified as "Stardock Corporation." I'm only running ObjectDock and IconPackager, so I assume that it's one of them making the TCP connection. What are these IP's used for, and what info is being transmitted? Thanks!
OK, well I'll set up the defrag and virus checker tonight. In the meantime I was able to do the following: - got the drive/folder icon dir listing to work by installing the previous build and using ctrl+left-click and sometimes left-click-and-hold - got the context menu for the recycle bin to work by dragging the bin from the desktop to the dock - HOWEVER, I noticed that if I then hide the bin icon from the desktop, the context menu for it on the dock no longer works; anyone see this hap
@Çërêb®øJÐ - I made the recycle bin by using the "Create New Recycle Bin" option. I'll try the drag-n-drop method. @horiz0n - Thanks anyway. @digital_trucker - That's about the 10th time someone has suggested that I defrag. I suppose it's about time that I do. I'll do a complete virus scan also. Man, oh, man...
Thanks, ChinaCat - I love OD, so I guess I'll have to put up with these annoyances if I'm to be a loyal fan. But, there must be some OD "power users" out there who can help us?!?!
500 points to anyone who can help me with any of these ObjectDock 0.99a related problems: 1) "Left-click-and-hold" on folder or drive icons no longer shows a pop-up directory listing. Worked about a week ago, now no more. 2) Right-clicking on the recycle bin does not bring up options to explore it or to empty it - the only option is "Dock item properties." This has never worked for me in any version of OD. 3) The (really great!) XML Weather docklet has worked perfectl
