Just sold ours to my younger brother who is still a bachelor with time to play. We got it in Feb....played it maybe 6 times. It wasn't that I didn't like it...but rather it seems so juvenile and simplistic against cool stuff like Gal Civ 2!

I've repeatedly encountered this autopilot bug. For example, I'll select my survey ship, right click directly on a meteor cluster for it to explore, and the green autopilot route lights up, supposedly confirming the destination. Several turns later I'll check back and the ship is just sitting there, not moving. Even if the target is so close it could make it there in one turn.
"There was at least one pirate that did have (at one time) the most powerful fleet in the Caribean, Blackbeard." Blackbeard didn't really have a fleet, per se. When he took the Concorde and renamed her the Queen Anne's Revenge, he had the most powerful ship of war in the western hemisphere, though I wonder if he really knew that at the time, since he intentionally ran her aground not long after, to ditch most of his crew and keep their shares. Beyond that he had only the sloop Revenge.
