If I could only play three games the whole year, I'd have to go with; 1. Sins (With entrenchment and any other expansions) 2. Disgaea DS (Since I'll probably be playing it on my deathbed...) 3. Civilization IV It's a hard pick between Civ IV and GalCiv II.... [e digicons]:|[/e]

The first game I can recall buying for PC was Baldur's Gate. There's nothing like little kobolds exploding into chunks to get you hooked on PC gaming...
This is a tough one to call, really. Subscription fees, internet dependency, lag, queues, and server issues might end up burying this idea if it's not implemented well... that and the fact that some people just like to have a hard copy of the game they just spent a bunch of money on... I suppose only time will tell.
Exploding penguin babies? Sounds like a job for the prinnies, dood!
I'm sure most of you, like myself, love to crush your opponents into sweet oblivion with some of your favourite music to accompany the impending victory (Or defeat, I guess... but hopefully not! He he.). Anyhow, let me get to the point: What would your ultimate Sins playlist be?
Just like the supposed 'sex in videogames' garbage from earlier in the year (Mass Effect has had a tough run, no?), the amendment of bioware's decision to run with this kind of anti-piracy software is another testament to the community's ability to right the wrongs done against our beloved past-time. I don't know about the rest of you, but I know I feel pretty elated about this turn of events. /cheers
There's also a little button in the GUI that will toggle structure auto-placement on and off. It's just left of where you queue up ships & planet upgrades.
Unto Leviathan. Frightening book, that (well, it was for me, anyway )
Argonos is also the name of the ship in Richard Paul Russo's Ship of Fools. Who wrote Unto Leviathan, and what was it about?
Bravo Coelocanth
I second that. I've a few more to add, as well: Lucinda Carlyle the ship 'Argonos' the Omega Clouds (too easy, maybe...)
It's so sad that there will probably never be a sequel to it.
Maybe someone will make a mod for Civ IV...
There's a lot of references of which I haven't the foggiest on... I'm going to have to do a lot more reading, he he.
The habitat Goddard I was referring to was in both Saturn and Titan by Ben Bova... haven't read any Banks yet, but I definitely want to.
Just for some fun, can anyone guess what books these characters and places are referenced from?
