I agree the surrender option needs to be able to be turned off. But I'll go one step farther, if Surrender is turned on then we should be able to adjust what constitutes a surrender in our game without having to go into the programing to do it. For example: When a Empire surrenders should: 1) Surrender to only Human players. AI players or both. 2) When Empire surrenders does it: 1) Surrenders to one Empire or To many Empires (aka: Germany after WW2) (What e

I don't mind micromanagement personally. In fact I would not play the game if they took this away. At least allow the option. Anyway I plan on playing this game and Age of Wonders 3 without taking a breaks well I (will sleep and stuff :). These are currently my top two games. My main issue with the game is the MP part of the game. I am still waiting for the Immense maps and Pirates.

1. I loved the Death Star ships in GC2. Could we bring those into GC3. 2. I may have already mentioned this but bring the Dread Lords back as a 'Pirate' like bad guys much like the Orions in Masters of Orions. 3. Different types of space travel depending on the tech (Jump Gates, Hyperdrive, Warp Drive etc.)
So when I hit Request Constructor from a starbase, it queues up a thing called "Basic Build" (as Yor anyway). This is an absolutely minimal constructor with, as far as I can find, no alterable blueprint, which just automagically appears and forces itself upon me like a box of stale dicks. Why would I ever want my 5-planet-sponsored shipyard spewing out pieces of garbage that don't use a tenth of its capacity? There's

Most of my friends that I have gotten to purchased the game did so because we all wanted to play against each other. Hence the reason for my list below. Some have stopped playing until MP is "fixed." MP wish list: 1. More stable MP 2. The ability in MP to play on Immense maps. 3. The ability to turn on Pirates in MP. 4. Basically everything that is in SP should also be able to be accessed in MP. General game wish l

Lets see how fun that would be on 200+ planet maps! ok I have derailed this thread enough....
Actually I would love Tactical combat and yes it would be a blast on 200+ Planets. And I'm not joking. I think as far as Carriers go we should be allowed to des

The GC2 AI was pretty good. I only played it on Normal because I don't like cheats going to anyone. Now in GC3 I have only played on three settings, Beginner, Normal, and Godlike (insane.) GC2 hands down was a better challenge on Beginner and normal. And since I never played the highest setting in GC2 I cannot compare it to the highest setting in GC3. All I know is that the one Godlike game I played I got my ass handed to be but then the AI has all those cheats.</p
Here's another early game trick I use. Don't build any scouts. They're not very fast, they can't fight, and they can't explore anomalies. My favorite explorers are constructors. Constructors are faster, they can begin mining resources immediately. And each starbase constructed adds to the range of your other ships - notably colony ships for new colonies, and survey ships for investigating ano

The amount of time it takes to do a tactical battle is never a concern for me in any game I play and I'm the type that will always use it. And in a game like this to be able to command ships you designed would be beyond awesome. Now I'm not saying take out the auto combat as it is now, I just would never us it if real TC was in the game.
