Ken, If the link takes you to your settings page, try logging off and back on. It fixed it for me the other day.
Wow...7 TVs...you must be rich. [e digicons];)[/e]
On a final note, I downloaded 2 different .dreams from wincustomize that I know will hang explorer for me.
If either one of these are dreams that I created, let me know so I can look into it.

You should be able to copy them from one drive to the other without too much trouble. You may have some trouble from the encrypted ones though. Install windows blinds on the new drive and then copy your blinds directory from the old drive to the new. Start windowblinds and then click on skin options and then rebuild list. If you moved them correctly, they should show up. You will need to reinstall the encrypted ones if they look corrupt.
Looks like you got lucky. With the looks of the storm, it could have been far worse.
Zubaz...glad to see that all is well.[e digicons][/e]
ID, Your trip to Michigan and your apprehension over flying inspired me to create the Cloud Surfing dream. I'm glad you liked it. :CONGRAT:
I expect to lose some trees (or large branches) and power for a bit.
Been there, done that. Hurricane Hugo was the one I went through. We spent 2 weeks without power after the storm. You take for granted how dependant you are on electricity until you loose it. If you haven't done so, get prepaired. Don't forget to make sure your pets are well taken care of also. I'm sure you have a list of suggested items that you should have so I'm not going
The internal player is the stock Microsoft Vista media player that come with Vista Ultimate. DeskScapes will use Stardocks if you uncheck that box. The only differance I see is using Stardocks gives you a better choice of positioning than the internal player. I run Stardocks and have had no problems with lock ups.
Damn...I feel old.
Now I can use them on my work PC...cool![e digicons][/e]
Thanks and I'm glad you like my dreams. I'm not a moderator, just a user that likes to contribute. You'll find that most people on this site are the same in that they will do their best to help if they can. A good place to start to find the answers your looking for is the "help" link at the top of the page. Also, one of the best place to find answers is the Wiki. http://wiki.wincustomize.com/wiki/Main_Pag
There's already one. Click on in "skin options" and then "rebuild list".
Happy Birthday Monkeyman.[e digicons][/e]
Does DeskScapes only run Dreams animated wallpapers?
Yes but I know you can run MPEG and WMV files also if you have Vista Ultimate and DreamScene installed. I'm not sure if this applies in your case.
If "outside" animated wallpapers can be used, how?
Depending what file format they are, see the above answer.
Also, does Deskscapes have a printed manual of any sort?
No
It took me a few minutes to find the thread where I originally posted this. If you have had the preview installed and then installed Deskscapes or have updated from 1 version of DeskScapes to another, try this and see if it will fix your problem. Uninstall deskscapes. After uninstalling deskscapes, manually delete the "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Deskscapes" directory and the "C:\Program Files\stardock\object desktop\deskscapes" directory if the uninstall process
