By the replies, I appear to be the lucky one. Granted, my speed is not what it should be as I have 9 megs down and 6 megs up, but I could definatly tell an improvement without the ads loading.
[font="Impact"][size="5"]It's the ads!!! [/size][/font] I had the same problem and once I subscribed and was able to browse without the ads, everything sped up. Since there's a charity subscription drive going on right now, you can speed up your browsing and help the kids all at the same time. I was also having trouble with some pages not loading due to missing or broken ads, that is now fixed.
Is there a release notes document that covers the changes in this update?

That widget has a pack of smokes listed at $7.50 a pack. Are they that expensive now? I quit when they hit $1.00 a pack...it's been a few years.
If have also had problems with Nero. I found that if you install just the core program without anything else, the jerk or hesitation in Dreams is no longer there. I think Nero install some codecs if you allow anything other than a minimal install.

I had a similar problem a little while ago. I had to install an Adobe activeX uploader to be able to upload photo's and after installing it, I tried to upload a photo and had an Explorer crash. I tried with the Wincustomize browser and it uploaded. I then tried IE7 and it worked fine. I also am using Vista Ultimate.
