teddybearcholla...Do you know of any Apophysis training for animations? I still want to do that dream for you but have yet to figure out how to batch render it.
Bryce is not free... but at $29.95 it may as well be. Uvah may have it confused with Daz 3d which sells Bryce7...since there is a free version of Daz3d
kenata...no, some sites' threads can be closed by the Op for whatever reason he/she chooses
I assume you are refering to sites that cross into WinCustomize. I saw a thread the other day that appeared closed by the OP but I didn't think that was possible. What cross posted forums is this allowed on?
Hey Doc...when you checked out these guides... Do you realize that if you signed into Facebook with the account you just closed, you reactivated the account?
While there is some good advice found in this guide for a newbie, there is also some bad. One is, you should never use msconfig as a permanent solution for disabling start up programs. It is intended for diagnostic use only. It also suggest increasing virtual memory by increasing the page file size but it does not suggest what to set it to. There have been formulas for setting the pagefile manually tossed around for years. In some cases you can actually hurt
IROKONESS...you shoud install Fences.
No matter how much memory is on your computer, a PC game will only be able to see 2 gigabytes of it unless the game itself is 64-bit which, to my knowledge, there are no major games that fit that yet.
While it may not be considered a major game any more, I believe there's a 64 bit version of Half Life 2.
I would try RNDs suggestion of copying the entire DVD to your hard drive in a temp folder and running it from there. Since there's no reference to if it is a store bought DVD or a backup, copying the files over would rule out any disc issues. If it copies, the files are probably fine. If it errors out, than the CD player could be dirty, a misaligned laser, or a bad DVD burn.
Also, you updated your video drivers lately? ATI released 11.1 a couple weeks ago. They fixed some graphical issues I was having with some Adobe products on the earlier drivers.
You could perform a clean boot and try installing. To perform a clean boot, follow these directions from Microsoft.
I believe WindowBlinds is causing the issue. Open Windowblinds and set it to the original windows desktop. That will basically unload Windowblinds. Once it's unloaded, you should be able to install it.
It stripped the content of a Personal Message....so you were shooting blanks.
Sad thing is after you uninstall the Beta, the problem still exists. I sent a few blank PMs before I figured that out. I didn't like the beta because it moved the icon for your favorites to the right side of the browser. While there might be a way to move it back to the left, I couldn't find it. It left the add to favorites bar icon on the left so I would click on it think
I just ran across this interesting article that sums up what I think of the "Internet Kill Switch". What the Feds Can Learn From Egyptian Internet Control <a href="http://newsbusters.org
So close Doc...It's actually... sfc/scannow (you have a space after /)[e digicons];)[/e] You need to run the scan at a dos prompt. Open the command prompt in your All Programs\accesories folder, type sfc/scannow , hit the enter key. Get up, go to your fridge and grab your favorite beverage...it's going to take a few minutes to run.
It should work fine. You should use DeskScapes to choose between your regular wallpaper and Dreams and you shouldn't have problems. Also, be sure to get the Sleeping Dragon Dream to go with your theme if you don't already have it.
ID, The MasterBaron updated his Masterskin "Edge of Eternity" dream and I am unable to get a link to the new version. I purchased it when it was first released and the link that is in my account registrations goes to the old version. When I request registration links via the Stardock Support page, the email I receive has a link to the old one as well. Is this a site bug or should I submit a support request?
By charging it and getting it. Their profit margin is their justification. But, you won't get patches, etc. which might be needed as time goes by.
To convince everyone that digital distribution was the wave of the future a few years ago, game producers promised that prices would go down accordingly. I chalk it up to corporate greed. As for the updates...most games you purchase in stores require you to install Steam for activation. I currentl
