For games, digital distribution is still lost on me. Most of my apps are bought on line, but they are directly from the manufacturer. If it wasn't for Object Desktop, I doubt I would have Impulse installed. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any issues with Impulse being installed, I actually like the program and it's abilities. I'm just not a fan of digital distribution in it's current form. The selling point for digital distribution (as a whole) was cheaper

Jv_Cipo...that wall looks like it was created from the Video Copilot project, Light Particles. I was thinking about creating a dream with it as the base...looking at your wall I think it would turn out pretty nice.
A picture would help to get your point across.
Doc...the key word is "intentionally" They come attached to a lot of programs and they normally default to be installed...you just have to be careful when you install said software. Most developers get paid to allow them to be attached to an installer, which I can understand if it's freeware. What erks me is I've seen them attached to installers of programs I've purchaced. When I see this I normally won't purchace from that developer again.
I can't access the updates without Stardock Central apparently!
Stardock Central is no longer supported. You have to install Impulse .
All the rest came from MyWebSearch. I think anyone who has MyWebSearch get rid of it pronto.
All search/tool bars are malware/viral. Every one of them phone home and report your internet activity. Why anyone would intentionally install one baffles me.

Sorry to hear this. Loosing your mother is a hard thing to deal with. I lost my mother a few years ago. I know it's hard to believe right now but the pain you're feeling will ease. Remember, she will always live on in your heart. I wish you the best.
Mud wrestling...did someone say mud wrestling

What really needs to be done is ask Al Gore what he thinks of a kill switch, after all, he invented the internet. [e digicons];)[/e]
I think it should be left up to the individual and I already have one...it's the power switch on my router. As for that draft dodging asswipe Lieberman, well you really don't need my opinion.
Here's what I'm currently running although I'll be switching to a TTD theme later today.
Nice screenshot, IROKONESS . [e digicons][/e]
A WinCustomize Community Skinning Progject ......No one told me!
By the way, you Zubished the title. [e digicons][/e]
The default count of 30 skins per page was just not enough for me when viewing my skins list. At 30 per page, I have 12 pages to thumb through. I decided to create a shortcut with the page size increased to cover all of my skins and it actually worked. Now I have a shortcut that will display all of my skins on one page...awesome. https://www.wi
Nope one thread wasn't enough.
[e digicons][/e]

Yosemite is an awesome place to visit. If you get a chance, be sure to visit Jackson Hole, Snake River, and the Grand Tetons as well since they are not far away. I took two weeks in August a couple years ago and toured the area on my motorcycle, it was the best ride I've ever had.
Damn Capt'n...glad to see there's a few free thinkers around here amongst the Lemmings. [e digicons][/e]
