Just tried installing (rebooting) and uninstalling (rebooting) previous versions to see if that removed any older files which might be causing the problem. No change. Menus only appear when another window is open in the background.

It does it without a skin loaded. Only with WB uninstalled does the problem go away.
It should be noted that if there is a window over the desktop, then the menus appear. But, if there is no window, the menus are transparent.
I had this with the previous version.

Ever since the W10 anniversary update I've had an issue with menus being 'missing'. I would click on them and nothing would appear. This affects some fly-out menus added to the start menu, and similar menus added to the taskbar. I've recently realised this is a Windowblinds problem and the menus do appear, it's just that they are transparent. When I uninstall Windowblinds, the menus behave normally. The menus did show when there is a window open on the d

Yup, my 500Gb SSD was nearly two thirds full... It's now back down to the size it was before the update. Ta da! The other issue has returned. Menus won't open unless another window is open. No window open: Menu won't open. Window open: <img src="http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq343/MHather/
Wonder why it takes so long? Windows 10 is over a year old already!
It takes a long time to grasp how a new o/s needs to be skinned. Creating graphics is the easy part - learning what the o/s requires isn't. I will create something as soon as I know what I'm doing ;) However, things are changing so rapidly I'm in a constant phase of feeling a bit lost. I suspect most 'part-time' skinners feel the same.
I should also point out that no matter how you purchase software, if it gets broken by an OS update then you may have to upgrade if you wish to continue to use an app. This is true if it is your AV app or a Stardock app.
This is exactly why the Stardock subscription model works well for me. No matter what Microsoft changes my OD programs will be updated.
After 10 years here it still amazes me how much attention Stardock pays to comments abou

I have a Taskbar Toolbar linked to the programs menu so I can access programs with a normal fly-out menu. I also have 'Programs' as a menu shortcut in Start 10. Neither of these will open until I've had 'This PC' open. Sometimes they will only open when 'This PC' is open. Does anyone know what might be causing this odd behaviour? Thanks.

Select the files you want to move but then use 'copy to', selcting the destination on the new drive. That way you'll still have your originals if anything goes wrong. Once you are certain all your files are safely in the destination folders you can delete them from the original location.
