Skinners are spread so far and wide its almost impossible to meet each other. If you think there are billions of people in the world but only a handfull of skinners its not suprising. We can still meet here though...

Yes, I know exactly what that error message is! Your bios doesn't support XP. You need to download a bios update and flash the bios. Not for the nervous, but needs to be done. XP runs ACPI different from ME / 98 and the two aren't compatible - nice one MS... At a guess I would say the other problem may be display related. Have you tried looking in event viewer? That usually tells you why a program has crashed. A good tip is to customize the start menu to show Administrative Tools - puts event viewer in a more readily accessible spot.
