IE9 CAN work with WindowBlinds in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

Yes it true, but only with the Areo blinds that come with the installation of WindowBlinds 7. Pick one, color it, add some textures and you will be able to see how IE9 is designed to look and operate. Sure IE9 doesn't work with my favorite blind named Alloy from Ross Fairbanks or any blind from my collection other than the Areo blinds, but being able to fully use IE9 and check out it's performance improvements has been a pleasure so far...

Have all the Window Blinds developer taken a look at how theirs or others recent blinds for Win 7 react to IE9 that came out today? I can get the basic Aero blinds to look good with IE9, but all my purchased and collected blinds don't fair so well with IE9. Since I and many users spend so much time in IE, I'm afraid there are going to have to be some changes in Stardock software to acccomodate skinning IE9; although at least IE9 works much better with Window Blinds that it has in the

Can someone explain how this is better than Object Dock Plus with a tabbed background? I can set it to hide the dock without clicking on anything. At least I can access Object Dock Plus even when I have other applications open in full screen mode. Is it because the fences have a semi-transparent background? That feature is available in a lot of Object Dock backgrounds. With Vista Home Premium, I can use Alt-Tab and select my basic desktop if I want an easy way to hide what I have open.....I

Thanks for the clarification Zoomba. Probably why they have no plans to kill off SDC anytime soon. It's a shame really, Impulse is a nice GUI and if it just had all of the features of SDC, I'd switch to Impulse in a heartbeat. :NOTSURE:

It's shiny and new and appealing, sort of like My Colors on steroids. But, it's not easy finding the Gallery of new uploads and it errors out on updating any of my installed applications. Try quickly finding the most recent Window Blinds or Wall Paper uploads as an example. It's a slick new way to find out what is for sale, but I'll stick with SDC or the wincustomize web site until Impulse puts the newest uploads up front and a little less emphasis on sales. :(

Using Vista Home Premium with SP1. SDCentral installed DesktopX v3.50.014 this morning and ALL of my Widgets that have scripts are DEAD. I can not edit the scripts in any of my widgets. Bad flippin way to start my day....anybody know what is happening?

I am looking for a mail checker widget that acts identical to my email client (Thunderbird) in identifying only new mail that I have not yet downloaded. If my email client, as well as most other clients, do not redownload mail that I have intentionally left on the server, then there must be a mail checker widget somewhere that will tell me only the mail that has not already been downloaded. I'm looking for a clean, configurable, widget

I couldn't find an appropriate category for this problem, so, I've submitted here. I use Stardock Central Skins and Themes option to keep up to date on what is new. Suddenly, I no longer can see thumbnails under the Wallpapers category. I get thumb nails under other categories, just not under wallpaper or the Recent category. I have deleted Stardock Central, rebooted, cleaned up my registry, and then reinstalled Stardock Central; still no wallpaper thumb nails. I have also tried setting my thum

Use Gif versus ICO in DesktopX" in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Just another newbie with a question. I've learned to use DesktopX to create a simple object using an ICO file. It looks nice on my desktop; however, I'd like to use an animated GIF instead of an ICO file to give my desktop a little zip. Does anyone know how this can be done? When creating the object, it does not give me a choice of using a GIF for Mouse Over or Mouse Away....thanks for any response you may provide.
