I am an idiot. I figured it out. I thought I was choosing dx12 when I was launching the game I see that the option is in the options, go figure. I was doing too much multitasking to think correctly.

I just did a new install of windows 10. I updated to the latest driver for my card, R9 290, and bought the game and installed all today. For some reason the game benchmark states the API is dx11. How do I get it to use dx12? Also when I launch it gives the option to launch the game or launch in safe mode dx11.
