Angelic Fury is a bonus to normal attack, it is mitigated by armor. Rook's Towers do not count as minions. they don't benefit from minion upgrading gear and they can't be controlled. they're like map towers (although they do not benefit from the Citadel upgrades that affect map towers). so s1foo was right on both of those counts, despite not actually using a single complete sentence or punctuation mark, he knows whats up. &nbsp

you're absolutely right Orion. on that note i find that Cloak of Elvenkind is amazingly good at beating minion armies. it gives both evasion and armor so you'll take alot less damage. it also gives +20% move speed and short range warping so it becomes very easy to avoid minions and to catch their generals.

i like this guide as well. its a good way to play QoT under certain circumstances. the biggest issue is that its a very team oriented build. if you're not working closely with a strong DG killer like Beast or Regs you might have alot of trouble. this build leans heavily on division of labor. it sets up Queen for lane control, pushing, and support and relies on a partner for anti-DG activity and disrupting the opponent's gameplan.

however, this would prevent you from being able to effectively Mulch a Shambler that was far away from combat or didn't have a current target. it could also significantly delay getting the Health restored as the shambler went and ran after its target. this could be very very bad. i'm not sure why this feature is desired. is it so hard to just micro a shambler yourself? it takes 2 clicks.

games are complicated systems with rules. a good gamer knows this and knows that to master the game he must acquire a deep understanding of the rules. coming to the web (this here forum here) and asking questions is the best way to learn. a clutter of in game documentation would just make the game ugly and overwhelming. the community and the players are responsible for the education of noobs. they can learn this stuff the same way we did (examining LUA files, careful observation, controlled t

this is an out-of-left-field theory, but it might explain things. how's your PC, specifically graphics card? mine explosions throw alot of Shrapnel and Smoke, which the game actually spends alot of processing resources on. i'm wondering if your Sim Speed spiked downward because of the mine graphics. it would certainly make it look like you were moving extra slow (everything else would be super slow as well though). other than that i can't th

if this isnt a joke i give up on the human race (or whichever segment of that group shows up on these forums anyway). edit: yep, joke. Tiduz appears to actually be reasonably smart/decent based on his other posts.

i've seen it too. they'll use an ability and then just stand there doing nothing, totally unable to break the loop they're stuck in. a human player can at least manually break the loop by spamming move orders, the computer apparently can't do this.

the range is the whole map, thats what makes it good, it can be targetted anywhere.. the cooldown is 45 second. it could get down to less than that with Celerity flags. it deals 250 damage and will knock down small creeps. and lol @ insulting Stil_Rey. the pantheon stats are broken. they record maybe 1 out of 5 games played. i've played with Rey before. he's pro.

Dalzk just asked him why. maybe he could have answered with something like "cuz im playing a Raise Dead build and i don't use Penitence. maybe i'll get rank 1 for interrupts but thats it." and that would be totally fine. no reason to rage quit like a jerk because your team-mate was interested in what your build was.

the bounty would just be based on how much stuff the player had done in between deaths. so if it turns out that AoE farming creep waves adds bounty too fast that would have to be adjusted. thats what i meant by tweaking and refining and playtesting. its still a fundamentally good idea.

this is a fundamentally good idea. it will need refinement and tweaking and playtesting to get the numbers right and find exploits or other oversights.

this old nugget again. armor does not lose effectiveness. what you're seeing is the number "% mitigation" appears to grow at a decreasing rate as armor increases. this is because the armor formula is % mit = 100 x (1 - (2500 / (2500 + Armor))) but that quantity is deceptive and not what you really care about. increases in armor are compounded on existing mitigation so the gain is linear if what you measure is Time To Live, which is a much more reasonable thing to care about. its

i think its simple. you are average (or better) if and only if: 1) you know the most effective builds for your Demigod and are using a build that you know how to use 2) you know which items are good and which are crap and what a reasonably efficient order to by them in is 3) you know which citadel upgrades are good and what their relative priorities are at the various stages of the game 4) you are familiar with the maps (not too hard, there are o

Frosty Torchbearer Frost Novas the towers to shut them down for 10 seconds while stunning the DG's. then he Ice Rains them for damage and an attack speed debuff. He then auto-attacks Sedna while waiting on his Deep Freeze to counter her Heal and lock her out of it for awhile. it will also get a 2x Shatter for good measure. Torchbearer's partner is Unclean Beast. he opened the fight with Foul Grasp on Sedna to make sure she couldn't pounce or silence the Frost Nova. He f

anything that is an activated ability counts as "spell damage" and ignores armor. so pounce, mines, ooze, bite, all of that ignores armor. everything else is mitigated by armor. so thats demigod weapon attacks. and all damage dealt by minions, creeps, and towers. alot of players like to focus on health for two reasons. first is that demigod spells are the main source of burst damage, which is the primary threat to your immediate survival at

make sure you've bought at least Building Damage 1 upgrade from the citadel to give your towers AoE. then run his minions into the towers and let them get zapped. if he's not microing them carefully enough they'll just follow you in, even if Erebus himself doesnt. also, buy the Idols to help fight. minotaurs will tank the nightwalkers for a little bit or at least body block them. the pathfinding AI is poor enough that having some guards stand in front of you

depends which Demigod you are, some have better options than others. a heavy AoE will work wonders. Circle of Fire and Ooze are your best candidates for outright killing the things. you can use AoE support and some of your own minions to take them out as well Queen of Thorns can do this well with Ground Spikes and Oak can do it well with Surge of Faith. you can use AoE stuns to marginalize them. Mass Charm and Frost Nova will put them out of actio

not understanding why you need that much mana. i manage to make do most games with just a Vlemish. if i manage to get a Heart of Life its like infinite mana for the rest of the game.
