thanks for the vid. i'd love to see more, hopefully a bit different than this one. MK theme makes my head hurt, and is kinda cliche.

there are 2 primary builds of Oak, you'll find variation but here they are, in short Build 1: Raise Dead Ward focused, emphasis on minions and lane pushing 1 - Raise Dead 1 2 - Soul Power 1 3- Divine Justice 1 4 - Raise Dead 2 5 - Surge of Faith 1 6 - Shield 1 7 - Raise Dead 3 8 - Penitence 1 9 - Last Stand 1 10 - Raise Dead 4 11- Surge of Faith 2 12+ - build is basically com

the first thing that came to my mind was that it was a map that had two +15% health flags on it. if a team controlled both they would have +30% health, a huge amount. if your base health pool was 6000 (its alot but its still easily achievable with health items) and two health flags under your control then you would have 7800 health.

Sedna IS a healer. she's also a great demigod killer and great flag capper. nobody thinks that you can Heal through 100% of their damage. we all know very much that you're not a fucking Holy spec Priest in WoW, ok. get off that trip man. we do expect that a well timed Heal will be the difference between life and death in a Demigod confrontation. if somebody calls for a Heal you should try and do it. its ok

on what grounds do you determine that the two itmes weren't mean to be used together? because the effect is somewhat powerful? so is the effect of combining Vlemish Faceguard and Plenor Battlecrown, thats a huge amount of mana. far more than either item would provide alone. item synergy exists for a reason. if you make good choices you should gain greater benefit from the combination than any piece individually.

its kinda inefficient to save so many skill points at such early levels. other DGs are spending those points and becoming noticeably more powerful from doing so. you're sitting on them for 2 levels in a row at 8 and 9. i cant imagine you can stay at a competitive power level during these two levels. i'd recommend progressing like this 1. spikes 1 2. shield 1 3. uproot 1 4. spikes 2 5. spike wave 1 <p

can't take a post seriously that makes inappropriate comparisons and gets many easily accessible facts wrong.

1) dunno 2) 90 seconds 3) not positive, think its also 90 seconds. demigods cannot attack Raise Dead Wards. i've heard that minions can, but i've never seen it. 4) its a passive aura. if anything dies near him (approximately 30 range units) there is a % chance it will spawn a new nightwalker if Erebus does not control his maximum number of nightwalkers yet. by default he can make 2 nightwalkers and the chance to conver

facts are helpful things Fact #1: nearly every online RTS game uses full p2p (Supreme Commander, DOW2, Company of Heroes) or hybrid p2p (anything on Battle.net). contrast with FPS games, which are frequently client-server. these games tend to have dedicated full time hosting servers which are often owned by members of the community (usually Clans). This is how TF2 works. This is also more or less how Xbox Live handles Halo3 and shit like that, exc

if you're in the queue for pantheon and 4 players connect but 1 drops IMMEDIATELY after the 4th connection is made it will still automatically launch the Pantheon match as a 2v1. sometimes its 2v1+bot and sometimes the poor sap doesn't even get a bot. Panth is still broken and not nearly as good of a play experience as the Custom Games are. Please fix.

first of all, Gas Powered Games is the developer/designer. Stardock is the publisher. they don't nerf anything. all changes to the game mechanics come from Gas Powered. second of all, its not something that needs nerfing. two expensive pieces of equipment when used together should provide a good benefit, and they do. Oak's Shield can and should continue to interact well with Heart of Life. its totally fine. you can still interrupt it by the way. use a stun or interrupt

excellent post. +1 for you. this really captures the most important element of Map Strategy in Demigod. each map is a bit different but the objectives are known from the beginning. a team can win easily, even if their opponents beat them in individual conflicts and are higher level, if the team is co-ordinated and focused on winning the map. citadel upgrades and flag locks are the most important elements of this. thanks for the guide S

good advice, needs some details. its not always important to lock a flag. but when it is it REALLY FUCKING IS. someone should write up a guide about how to know when you should lock a flag, maybe i'll do it.

having an inexperienced player on your team is a huge liability this is true. HOWEVER the fix for this should not be a modification to game rules to make it "ok to get killed all the time". thats not what we want. what we want is a better skill ranking system so you can tell before starting a game whether or not a player is highly rated or has a low rating. rating matching makes for fair games much better than penalty reduction.

i've been able to beat all 8 matches on hard, but its rare and takes luck. you can make your own luck if you quit out of games that are unlikely to be winnable due to the faults of your AI allies. i don't feel like its cheating to quit out of a slaughter mode game. the AI allies have no sense of self preservation, they don't even understand that dying will make them lose the whole match. thats way too much of a handicap to remain in the realm of fun. its one thing to fi

lets see if this "tier ranking" looks closer to the the conventional wisdom than yours tier 1: Unclean Beast (Venom Spit build), Sedna (Pounce and Heal build), Rook (tower farming build) tier 2: Oak (both builds), Erebus (Bite, Charm, Bat Teleport build), Regulus (Snipe + Mines build) tier 3: Torchbearer (mixed fire/ice build), Queen of Thorns (mixed Ground Spikes/Bramble Shield build) tier 4: everything else also worth poi
