I have never played anybody except the humans. But then again I have only played 8 or 9 games. The humans seem pretty lame to me. But the learning curve was a bit hard for me so I thought keeping with only 1 specie it would be simpler. I do know I love to play against the Korath. I love to kick their butts

I see most people have small icons when you write in a message. I was wondering how to I get mine in there. I gather you must have played some games in metaverse. I did and I know i have a few icons. I just can't see them... Any ideas? Thanks
No they do not. You always get to fight them on a fleet to one ratio. Makes things a bit simple when you conquer them.
I see. So having a fleet with combined defense does not really mean anything... If I can't equal them I should just fill in on attqack at least if I loose my ships they will loose theirs as well....

I am at war with the Korath Clan, and I have adapted my defenses and attacks to be affective against them. Here is the deal. They have 5 ships with a total of 120 missile attact and 30 shields. I have 4 ships with 90 Missile and 98 Point defense. As I see it to counter his missiles I need point defense. So When my ships attacks his, he as no defenses against my attacks and I have plenty of defenses. Yet I always get my bottom handed back to
I have a print out of all the tech in a pdf format. I refer to it on a regular basis when I trade. I always get what I bargain for. I suggest you all do the same, for those of you who find it a bit overwhelming like I use to. Can I be evil... PLEASE?????
I was wondering if anybody can tell me what this does. I mean I researched it and none of my weapons seemed to be smaller. I could not fit more in a ship. Is it just for specific items or am I just missing something? Thanks
I was wondering how I fix a star-base and or a ship. Seems after battles my ship and starbases do not fix themselves. Is there something I have to do? Thanks
I faced this situation a few times... I wonder if there is a solution. Most planet I conquer I have social and military production. So I can continue to build stuff. However I have a few planets once conquered social and military is at 0. Even though there are factories on the planet I still can't build anything at all. My morale most of the time is at 100. Is there something I should do? At this point I just destroy it because it's a drain on my ressources.... <b
I am still somewhat confused. I just finished a game. it was a pretty long game and I had the opportunity of researching a lot. What I usually do is research shilds and phasors. I usually get 2 different typs of ships. What I am wondering about is what's the point of researching heave weapons like plasma and all the others further down the tech tree if none of my ships can get them? Or am I missing something completly? Is there a way to get the powerful weapons on some
Now I am a bit confused. I am told by some that using the ships that are given with the game is not as praticle as making our own. I'm not sure I follow that. Can somebody explain it to me? Is it that made vessels are more efficianet? if so how? And lastly if it is the case is there a place where I can download made ships. I do not have the patience to make some. Thanks
I bought this game and been trying to play it for the last week. I have a few questions... Is it me or does it take about 3 days to get a decent ship with weapons and armor or shields? Is it the point to be only able to build small ships with only 1 weapon? 2- Why is it soe hard to keep everybody happy? I mean if I have to spends 100 turns just to research to get them happy... is there a a better way or tips I can get? 3- Strategy, is it better to colonize and stay ve
