I have submitted Maja Pearl.wba to the gallery 4 times in the span of a week. Each time I see it in moderation on my skins page. Each time, the following day I will check it and it is gone (not in moderation on my skins page and not in my gallery). Each time, I check my email but there is no notification of it. This Guide works absolutely perfect. I opened photoshop and cannot even find anything in the way of opening .tmp file so I woud imagine that yes you may have to start all over but don't fret any, just chalk it up to experience. I'll be looking for that boot WhiteRoad :D

Personally speaking, I think Xion is a great way to start because it will help you define the graphics that you may want to use later in other projects. CursorFX, if you want to start out with small scale graphics. Icons are alot of fun and very easy. Bootskins are pretty easy but you may find it hard to maintain the quality of your graphics. And finally speaking, I enjoy working with .png over .bmp anytime :D
