Well, It may be an alignment thing. I usually try to get everyones economy treaty early on, and I can even get them from the Drengin. But if you wait too long, they trade them, or pretty much refuse what ever you offer.
Vicariously...hmmm..not sure what that means. And honestly, I dont even know what the acronym for "AAR" means. Yes, I am a foolish child.

Okay, I looked for you. The default race pics are 256x256, and in .png format. That might be why the didnt show. So I suggest, if you have Photoshop, or similiar(atleast paint), load your pic onto the photo editing program, resize if must, and when you save the pic, make sure you save it as .png . And the folders in "my games" is mainly for user stuff. Saved games, custom races, logos, portraits, ect.
Wow, tons of RAM and VRAM...I dont see why it would mess up. Did you patch it today?
Put the pic in My documents> My Games > GC2DarkAvatar > Gfx > Portraits. Then restart the game, and browse through the pics, and you should see yours.

He just talks a LITTLE about some dudes theoretical formula. The rest was just compiled instances, where government consenses(sr?) are usually innacurate..
