About the Limited Edition and and us who pre-ordered earlier in War of Magic Stardock Forums

How/When do we change our order from our original digital download/ standard edition physical copy to this limited edition? im concerned (and others are, im sure) that unless we order it soon we will miss out as there is only 10,000 on offer - if anything, it should be those who have shown loyalty before that should be given the chance to upgrade before offering it out to others, 'cause im now worried i might lose out because i ordered before this became an option.

ok, im sold..... i was disappointed when us guys in the UK got shafted by EA over our Collectors Edition of Dragon Age: Origins, but it seems finally a company is doing things right [e digicons]:grin:[/e] i pre-ordered Elemental as soon as i was able, but as an electronic download copy... how do those of us who already have a pre-order change to this edition? i know its gonna cost a bit more posting to UK, but now its got all these bonuses its act

Ok, i have found out that you guys arnt going to be providing the expansion for the UK, my problem is the version i have is an elextronic download from you, how do i get hold of the expansion and get it to work for your electronic download? i had terrible problems with another company with CIV4 and trying somthing like this (electronic download and CD copy of expansion) so i am reluctent to 'buy to try' i also dont want to spend more money getting a game i already have just to play its expans

i cant update SDC and every time i start it up is tried to update, but gets to 70/80% complete and the update screen disappears as if its completed, also im trying to update TA (95(b) to 96(b)) and it gets to 43% one one bit and another bit keeps going up (750% at last check).

i agree... this would be an excellent idea, but lets wait until the Devs have finished the Beta... or maybe one of the Modders out there might be able to code it?

maybe what would be better would be some sort of Planetary defense technology, maybe different for each race, which is stationary over a planet and attacks any hostile ships, it could be a planetary tile option (maybe it is based on the planet, or the tile is a conduit/transport mechanism to the defense platform). it could make things interesting and look cool... imagine.... the Terrans could have a 'Starwars' type defense platform, the Alterian could have some dark energy based guardian in orbi

this is actually te first bug ive had with the game... the only bug ive have with a stardock game before this has been and still is that the Map editor from Alterian Prophesy crashes when i try to do anything...but i bet its so old now that there wont be a fix for it. Galciv2 TA will make it obsolete i suppose, even tho i love the first Galciv game as well

sounds like a good idea to me... but maybe make it another tech-string? the better these engines the faster in combat... but they wouldnt have to be as huge as the warp capable engines...

ive tried to try out the new invasion screens, but it crashes the game as soon as someone tries to invade me (and i suppose if i tried to invade), normally i can play this game on full whack in immense Galaxy, but i tried his on tiny, and re-tried with an auto-save with all my settings on minimum, and it STILL crashed ;p
