Thanks ironwill96, i must have missed that. It really bums me out that edits to the .entity files had to me made to change the .particle's. I can see what's gonna happen now I'm gonna download it, play it once in single player, marvel at how pretty the game could look, and then go back to the original sad but with no other choice.

This mod is basically useless if it needs to be enabled. It should be like changing the soundtrack for Sins, i don't see why it has to be enabled anywhere, just some files replaced that don't change gameplay at all. I thought the whole point of this was to be a GRAPHICS mod, with the "vanilla" game play completely intact, and actually usable online against people who aren't using the mod. It's not necessary to queue that all up. By the time it gets 1/2 way through that build order u should have enough crystal to do something cool. It's really not a big deal.

In Homeworld 2, a single battle cruiser could could only be countered by 5 destroyers or 21 ion/torp frigates, which is max of those unit types. Maybe it sounds unreasonable, but i would like cap ships to move more in that direction in sins of a solar empire. Not heroes, but definitely something worth the money spent on them

Lol I'm not a pirate i buy almost every game because cracked games can't be played online. I use it as a sort of free rental service to see if i want to spend my money on the game.

i don't like how there is no real front line in sins of a solar empire. that's probably my biggest complaint. I would love it if phase jump inhibitors prevented enemy ships from jumping into phase space in any direction but the one that they came from. It would also make planetary defenses more useful by default. Even better, make the phase jump inhibitors to be built on the planets themselves, thus the only way to move deeper into the enemy's system is to take out the outer planets fir

I downloaded the game off of bit torrent because i wanted to try it, and i liked it. Not loved, but i did like it. I played it for a couple hours, and decided to go out and buy the game the next day at my local gamestop. I live in NYC and they have been stocking copies around here.
