Can someone explain why every time I try a new windowblinds skin, it resets the Media Player skin back to the default? It's quite annoying.

I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction: With Gimp, I want to create a flag. I already have the flat flag image, but I'd like to create the illusion that it is flapping in the wind. I've tried playing with the filter > distort > curvebend tool, and it doesn't seem to do the trick. Any plugins or techniques to try, or tutorial websites? Thanks for your help!
Ooooh... I didn't see that. Thanks
I see a lot of "citizens" (like "Citizen EnsRegis") and several untitled names, and a few titles like Vagrant and Master. How do you change them? I originally thought that it changed from Citizen to unnamed when you uploaded a skin (to distinguish the "artists" from those who just came and downloaded all the cool skins), but that isn't it.... How does it work?
I got this laptop for graduation this year, and WindowBlinds works wonders. I have desktopX running as well, and it doesn't seem to be much of a drain. Running on WinXP (Yay! Stable software!)
I tried, and it didn't seem to work. Although I might just not understand what I'm supposed to do. It seemed to have no effect at all.
All-righty, let's see if I can explain this without pictures.... OK, I have an object that I am trying to design in DesktopX. When I click the object, I want it to "slide" out, revealing the functionality of my object. Now, I have already created the images for it, and the animation is fine. I just need to know how to have two mouse-away states. I think. Here's a little more detail of my object. State one (transparent)(Button)(Other Buttons, seperate Object) State Two {
I'm looking at some of these wallpapers, and I think a lot of them would look better with a little animation (mostly the computer-lookin ones... I can't remember the name, but there's one that is orange and gray that has a world wireframe on it) Is there away to do this?
OK, let's start off by saying this is an awesome website. (I love how much content there is, and the family-friendly atmosphere, unlike certain other sites *coughdeviantartcough*) Now, I wonder: Is there a similar site to this one that does different sound effects? I love customizing the visual elements, but where is a good site for customizing audio elements?
Just an ignorant thought: Try unloading windowblinds, then reinstalling the purchased version. ::shrug:: It might help. Mine's given me no trouble.
